this salon used to be great, but now it's like the rest of 4th avenue...just really low end. i think the only thing they have going on is that the sell aveda products. but the hairstylists aren't very good (i've been to 3 now) and it's dingy in there. just doesn't seem worth the price!
- Pros: they sell aveda stuff
- Cons: not talented, not a very nice place, feels budget but is expensive
I love this Spa!!

I've been growing my hair out from a super-short cut to shoulder length. I made an appointment with Sabrina to get an in-between cut and some help styling the awkward mess. Sabrina recommended panels, a kind of highlighting that gave my hair some nice depth, and she thinned out the sides so I didn't have so much weight. What a difference! Now my hair looks like I INTENDED it to be this length! Even better, she let me try out some different products and I settled on the Control Paste. My hair is just past my ears and I only need a pinky full of product to last me all day. Sweet. While she washed the color out of my hair, Sabrina gave me a wonderfully relaxing hand and neck massage. I could have fallen asleep in the chair. That kind of service plus the end result = great hair was worth every penny. I highly recommend this place.
- Pros: finally, a great haircut!
Best services!

Since getting all preggers, hubby got me a gift card here and I've tried everything -- massages, facials, pedis, haircuts. Everyone there is very friendly and very good. Martha (massage) is amazing and so is Bridget (hair). Great location, calm environment, and NO CHEMICALS to harm the baby. Cool coffee house next door to relax after a massage, too.
- Pros: calm, quiet atmosphere
- Cons: none
Sunny, relaxing spa

This place is a little oasis of peace and tranquility on 4th Ave. The front desk girl always offers you a cup of coffee or water and the waiting area has plush, cushy furniture. Ashley has been my hairdresser for a few months now and I never leave disappointed! She gives a great head massage while you get shampooed and a hand massage too. Then off to the chair for a haircut and color in front of big, sunny windows. There are also massage rooms and a mani/pedi area in the back of the salon. I love not having to worry about coloring my hair since all the products are Aveda. I wish every place on 4th Ave was this nice!!
- Pros: relaxing atmosphere
- Cons: small bathroom

* Be conversational: Write it as if relaying your experience to a good friend.
* Be specific: Generalities like "lazy service" or "tasty pizza" leave people wanting more detail.
* Be yourself: If you're an expert on burgers, let us know. If this is your first-time massage, say so.
* Compare apples to apples: Burger joints shouldn't be held to the same standards as four-star restaurants.

Love Martha,,, but the front desk leaves a bad taste.

I have to agree with the last review, the receptionist is rude and not at all helpful with appointments or products. When asking for 'another appointment' she asked "how many" which isn't very clear, so my responce was "excuse me"? the look on her face made me feel like I was stupid for not understanding her..... I make appointments one at a time not two or three. I would STRONGLY suggest a review of her people skills. The location is 4th Ave which is known to have parking issues, so make sure you allow your self parking time. I had a massage from Martha who is very skilled and informative both before and after. She walks you through all your options and asks for your input. The place is spotless. The prices are a bit over the top but I would have to say Martha was well worth ever penny. My opinion is 1) get a new receptionist 2) a bit more cost friendly. Over all nice place. Will I fall over myself to go back??? Probably not. Sorry Martha you should find someplace that matches your skill level and personality.
- Pros: Central, great products, wonderful massage
- Cons: Pricey, parking and receptionist

This was the best experience ever. As a gift I got a package that included facial, haircut, massage and pedi. All services were outstanding! They have different types of massage that I had never heard of (Tai and Lomilomi). The facial was amazing. The whole experience was completly relaxing. Staff was friendly. I have never felt soooooooo pampered.
- Pros: Great location, amazing service providers, excellent atmosphere!
- Cons: took a few min. to find parking

Be yourself: Write like you'd talk to a friend. Are you a burrito expert? Was this your first massage? Say so.
Think local: Mention the neighborhood and nearby attractions.
Play fair: Don't hold burger joints to the same standards as four-star restaurants.
Be specific: "Perfectly crisp pizza crust" is more helpful than "tasty food".
Give details: Specialty menu items? Unique spa treatments? Get the word out!
