Nothing To Rave About

by lt2 at Citysearch

Typical strip mall type Asian fare. Recently given huge article in AZ Star but there are much better restaurants out there for the $$$$. Small, crowded, clean , hot food, quick pleasant service. In fact, too quick; it was rather pushy as though trying to get a lot of "turnover."

  • Pros: Clean
  • Cons: Don't try to have a long conversation over a meal!

Good Chinese Restaurant

by ovp at Citysearch

The food is good, not gourmet by any means, but certainly nothing to complain about. The food comes out hot, fresh, and in the case of Sizzling dishes, well... sizzling. The pricing is very reasonable; lunch specials are inexpensive, and dinner portions are generous enough so that my family and I often leave with leftovers. The service is very attentative and if you're not bothered by being asked if you want a refill a few too many times or just happen to drink really fast (:P) it's fine. It gets pretty busy sometimes, and if you have to wait for a table to open up, it's probably a sign that the service will be worse than usual. At those times, I actually would *not* recommend eating there, as your meal is likely to feel fairly rushed.

Now, probably more importantly, to dispel some of the previous reviews: the coercion tactics are no longer in effect. These were a gambit of another time, and as of late, no one is going to come out and try and "trick" you. Furthermore, children do not ever serve alcohol in the restaurant; that one is an outright fabrication.

Ok, so to wrap it up, it's a relatively cheap, small but inviting Chinese restaurant. It's a nice place to eat, and you feel very welcome.

  • Pros: Good food, great service, large portions
  • Cons: Sort of small; this can lead to problems

What a mistake

by lovestochowinaz at Citysearch

We made the biggest mistake tonight. We were heading into the restaurant next to dragon village when a friendly speaking employee(?) came out and cooerced us into going into Dragon VIliage. They offered us free appetizers (how could we say no??) I have to say in restrospect not only was that cooercement pretty lame, the food wasnt even good--bland, unapetizing, etc. Some of our party even felt sick after eating. My husband and I both regret listening to this aggressive restaurant and will not patronize again.

  • Cons: Low quality food, poor ethics

I agree

by realinraleigh at Citysearch

I agree with the last reviewer. Save your money and go somewhere else! Actually there is a quaint little restaurant next door that had excellent food.

Worst chinese ever!

by orovalleydiner at Citysearch

I have no idea what that article in the paper was talking about! This was the worst chinese food we have ever had. Its obvious patrons only go here because there is nothing else around. I even saw young children serving alcohol!

Beware!

  • Pros: None
  • Cons: Poor quality of food, dirty utensils, poor drink service. Too many better options even in the same shopping center.
