BEST CAR REPAIR EVER EVER EVER.......!
by fredone at Citysearch
Hello,
I thought I would let people know that I have taken my Mercedes, my Lexus and my husbands BMW to Perfection Auto Works for over 12 years now, and I want to let EVERY ONE ON THE PLANET know how HAPPY and how SATISFIED my relationship has been with this shop.
They offer a FREE 26 point inspection that lets you know whats up with the car as it goes to the shop.
Mike Emery always lets you know if their are thing you need to pay attention to.
My husbands BMW needed rear brakes, and since the brake lite was not on, I trusted that the brake pads were as thin as he said......sure enough, when he asked me to look at the rear brakes.... I could see the pad, and they were almost to metal. What I loved about the inspection and the new inspection, was the fact that Perfection Auto Works had told me 5 months before that the brakes were getting thin.!!!! Wow, no surprise, as Perfection Auto Works had already told me the facts on their inspection.
We have been to many shops in the Tucson area on just the "oil change " circuit ,but I dont recommend this if you want quality......the last one left the drain plug loose. I HIGHLY recommend Perfection Auto Works because they have the ability and the professionalism to do a wonderful job on your car, or my car...
In fact, I m taking my neighbors Infinity to Perfection Auto Works next week......... She cant drive due to a broken leg, but has the same respect and judgment as I...... We trust our cars with Perfection Auto Works
and you should too..........
Sincerily
Mrs. Fredericka

I took my 1996 Lexus LX450 to be checked out by Perfection Auto Works. The employees were very professional and helpful. They inspected my car and gave me pricing on the maintenance needs. The cost was very reasonable. After one day of having my car, they finished it and returned it to me. The car has been running smooth ever since. I will definitely be back for my next scheduled maintenance.
Thanks Perfection!
PERFECTION AUTO WORKS PERSONIFIES PERFECTION

For a few years my son was a student at the University of Arizona which-as many of you may know, gave me the challenge of finding a trustworthy, professional, honest and competitively priced auto shop. My mechanic in New Jersey and I checked the Tucson area and came up with Mike Emery and Perfection Auto Works. On more than just a couple of occasions my son took his car there and the work was always done in a timely fashion and we were always completely satisfied with the work performed.
On the last occasion the car had a large amount of work done and when it was shipped back home we were amazed at how it looked--it was like we just picked it up at the showroom.
In these days of "rip-offs" there are two professions where the most important important credential to me is "do you truly trust the person performing the service"--those are auto mechanics and doctors!
Mike and his team certainly have earned our true trust.

I went to Perfection Auto Works for new brakes, and Mike was very helpful and explained what exactly needed to be done and why. They are very honest and their prices are very reasonable compared to the dealership. Also, they offer a student discount, and you get a discount at enterprise for a car rental. Everything went great, and I was treated with respect and given a great price for the repairs. I would definitely recommend Perfection to anyone that needs repairs and is looking for a quick and honest shop!
Thank you again Mike!

I got hosed! I don't know why people wait 2 weeks to get an appointment to get screwed by these jerks. I don't know how they get away with saying that they specialize in Mercedes, they made a mess out mine.
- Pros: Now I know where NOT to take my cars.
- Cons: NIGHTMARE!
Avoid this repair shop at all costs, or it will cost you!

After waiting two weeks for an appointment, I recently brought my 2002, Saab 93 in to replace a temperature sensor. When I called them late in the afternoon the same day, they hadn?t started on it. I indicated that I needed it the same day, as it was my primary means of transportation. When I arrived, I discovered that they also needed to replace the oil pressure sending unit. The total was $460.00.
Within a few days after this, the problem with the temperature sensor reappeared. I decided to wait on having this looked at because it wasn't causing me any serious problems. Unfortunately, a month later, I began to get an oil leak. At first it wasn't too bad, but within a few days it became significant, so I called Perfection to get it in for repair. I was told that the first appointment would be three (3) weeks away. In addition, they felt that their work was done properly and that it must be a new issue. Since I believed otherwise, I decided to have the vehicle towed to their shop. They said that the only way they could look at it earlier would be if they got a cancellation. I gave them an entire week, but finally called to let them know I was going to have it towed over to the Saab dealer. I asked them to prepare the bill for the original tow, as I would be in right after work. When I arrived, low and behold, the car was up on the lift being worked on. Wonder of wonders, they discovered that the oil pressure sending unit was loose and leaking. They gave the excuse that it was in a hard-to-get-to area. So they just had to tighten it. No charge, since it was warranty work. However, they still charged me for the towing ($47), and I had a rental car charge ($150) for the week. It?s been several weeks, and I still have no offer to cover these items. Fortunately, the oil leak has not reappeared, so I won?t have to go back. I certainly won?t have them look at the temperature sensor issue, which is still failing. And they broke a tab on my engine cover!
- Pros: None
- Cons: Slow, lack knowledge, poor customer service
Dont leave your car with them, they will rip you off

Bad Customer Service, Overcharged, Dishonest. Don't take you car here because they will create problems which aren't already there. Then they will try and convince you to fix them at perfection auto works, its simply a rip off. How they stay in business is a mystery to me.
- Pros: none
- Cons: watch out, you'll leave with a broken car
