Owner Ripped Me Off
by bean602 at Citysearch
Owner ripped me off. A group of about 30 folks from my office went to a going away luncheon here on May 4, 2010. For a large group each person is assigned a number and you stand up at the register at the end to pay. The owner, at the register, was busy talking to a waitress and a couple customers at the bar as I was paying. I handed him a $20 and he only gave me change for a $10. When I told him I had given him a $20, his snotty reply was “well why did I punch in ten.” He had not laid the bill on top of the change drawer, as you should, when you are giving change. He said he had “screwed up” by not doing that and angrily threw a $10 bill at me. I told him I was not trying to rip him off and would be happy to return the $10 if his register came up short. He said “no I will just take it out of the girl’s tips.” I was speechless, so I asked his to repeat it. He said the same thing about shorting the waitresses. I slid the $10 back to him and told him I did not want him shorting his waitresses. What a jerk! My office has had several going away luncheons here, as well as regularly going there for lunch on Friday’s. No More! Mr. Owner, you need to learn how to treat customers. You just cut off your nose to spite your face and lost a lot of future business!
- Pros: None

AMAZING PARMESAN!!

Argenziano's has a uniquely comfortable atmosphere. Family owned and operated with genuine italian recipes. You MUST try Deb's homemade italian dressing and the Chicken or Eggplant parmesan. Their pizza's are always delicious because they use fresh ingredients and they NEVER skimp. The portions are huge and the prices are low. It's such a refreshing place to enjoy lunch or dinner and with family all around it's great to bring the kids and socialise.
- Pros: great pizza, great parmesan, great food, family, friends
- Cons: far from town
It's a must for authentic Italian Food

The pizza is the best you will find out here. Like a slice of Jersey Pie. Try Ray's Special or the white pie. This is a great family ran place for families to go enjoy a great dinner! Forget the chain places, there is nothing like a family place for Great, Authentic Italian Food. The alfreado is to die for. Forget the New Year's Resolution for this. Get's busy, but that is a testiment to the following that this place has. Go there, it's worth the trip!
- Pros: The Food
- Cons: Sometimes a little crowded

Great service, reasonably priced, best Italian this side of the Mississippi. The place is packed on weekends which is testimony to its great food.
- Pros: Only about a 30 minute drive from Tucson, great service, fantastic food
- Cons: Closed Sun. and Mon.

We had the chicken parmesan and the fettucini chicken alfredo and the were both delicious! Huge portions too! My husband said it was the best Alfredo he's ever had and my Parmensan was definitely one of the best ever. Not a fancy place, feel no need to dress up, and very family friendly if you want to bring your kiddos. Very loud- lots of people there! We will definitely go back- the staff were friendly and prompt, the food was delicious, overall it was a 10! We were very happy to discover it! (They also do take out :) )
- Pros: Yum!! Delicious food and great service
- Cons: Very crowded and noisy
