TOTALLY DISAPOINTED!.
SOOOO DISAPOINTED!
I have been to La Fuente many times but after building this restaurant up to my relatives from Minnesota as being one of the oldest Mexican resturants in Tucson with a lot of atmosphere I have been apologizing ever since. I specifically wanted my sisters to hear the Mariachi play and sing.
No Mariachi band! The most blah mexican food in town and poor wait service! I would suggest the chef take a night off and visit Rosa's or any number of excellent mexican restaurants in town and take lessons. We waited so long for them to take desert orders we gave up and went to Dairy Queen on our way home. All around thumbs down!!!!…
Mediocre Mexican food at $8.50 lunch buffet. Lunch buffet is reasonably priced at $8.50+tax+tip but food is mediocre. There was quite a variety but food was insipid and not warm. Mexican restaurant with colorful decorations but food quality leaves much to be desired.…
BE AWARE. BE AWARE if you use any type of coupon or certificate you will be charged full price for your drinks during their Happy Hour. Happy Hour and any type of certificate or coupon can not be combined with the discount of ordering food. The manager will not negotiate even though Happy Hour and your coupon or certificate indicate discount for food only. So go somewhere else for Happy Hour and then use your discount coupon or certificate for dinner.…
Rip Off. Among the worst Mexican restaurants in Tucson. Subpar food and overpriced. Attention! Don't Be Fooled By Their Coupons! You'll still pay too much for the "not so good" food. Ugly pink building on the south end of Oracle Rd. That's the shady end of Oracle for those unfamiliar with the area.…
Beautiful Atmosphere. Guacamole made right at the table! Everything about this restaurant is colorful beyond your wildest dreams. The food and music complement each other superbly, I am sure you will not be disappointed.
Charming atmosphere. La Fuente is a nice place to go with friends for a casual, tasty dinner that is not over-priced. I enjoyed the live performances that accompanied dinner. The interior was charming, with the hanging plants and ethnic decorations. The customer service was excellent, and I could tell that they aimed to please. The food was nothing extraordinary, but it was definitely good for the price. I liked the enchiladas. The salsa was excellent. I recommend it-but not if you are looking for a four diamond, gourmet restaurant.…
Yucky Lunch buffet. I have never been to La Fuente for dinner, but my coworkers like to go for lunch and have the lunch buffet. I believe at 8 bucks that it is way overpriced for the amount of choices and quality of the food offered. I always leave feeling kind of gross like i ate crappy food. Also, often times i have been there there will be like one enchilada left in the pan and it won't be refreshed the whole time i am there going to the buffet......yuck........i have never enjoyed the buffet or the price. Dry chicken, runny beans, and stale tacos.....no flavor…
Good Food. I have only been one time for the lunch buffet; however, the food was very good. The quality was good and the food was piping hot. The staff was friendly and prompt.
Worst Mexican Food I have ever Had. My wife and I went their and she ordered Flat enchalads and they were raw in Middle. Alerted waiter and he Said What do you want me to do about it! I will Never go to this business again.
