You can always get a good deal on some good pizza here as coupons are plentiful. The food is very good and the service is walk up and limited. The only drawback is the location.
Gotta love Brooklyn

I lived in Tucson for 5 years and Brooklyn was my favorite for awesome pizza and garlic knots. I make a point to go there every time I visit Tucson. The sauce is perfect, the cheese is just greasy enough but not too much, and the crust is not too chewy to crunchy. When I was in college, there were many attractive young men who worked there which added appeal to the place. ;) Now it's mostly girls. Just an aside. ;)
- Pros: Wonderful pizza and garlic knots
Big slices just like NYC Little Italy

Having lived in Lower Manhattan NYC, I can say that this is some of the best pizza I have every eaten.
They make your food to order. You give your name (clean up those outstanding warrents first!) and they will call you when you oven-fresh slice is ready. Every thing that I and my friends order there is yummy!
Staff is civil and the place is usually crowded, which is a good sign.

A native New Yorker who attended the University of Arizona, I often found myself missing the tastes and foods that are uniquely New York. I particularly missed NY pizza and was delighted to find a pizzeria that could produce a pizza slice that rivaled that of what I was acquainted with back home. Brooklyn Pizza is definitely worthy of their name. The food is delicious and the prices are fair.
For all my fellow-New Yorkers living in Tucson who are craving a nice big greasy slice of pizza rivaling that of the local corner pizza spots back home, rush to Brooklyn Pizza. You won't be disappointed.

This place is great if you're just looking for a slice when you're out on 4th Ave.
The pizza is prepared like your classic Brooklyn Pizza, and it's made fresh when you order. They offer a pretty good variety of toppings, including eggplant!
The staff is pretty friendly and the price is right. It can just get a tad busy on the weekends, but there's never a tremendous wait.
Hand-tossed, stone-oven-fired pies at a funky Fourth Avenue locale.

The Scene
This touch of New York attracts the usual young, artsy crowd that hangs out on busy 4th Avenue. Order at the counter and watch your pizza being hand-tossed and baked in the stone oven. The small, brightly painted dining room holds mismatched tables and provides a view out onto the street--a perfect spot for people watching. Piped-in jazz and acid jazz complete the funky atmosphere.
The Food
Choose from imaginative calzones, pastas and heroes filled with various meats, cheeses and veggies. The Roast Beast hero tops roast beef with Provolone, horseradish, mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato for a full and hearty sandwich. For vegans, a cheeseless veggie calzone stands out among the vegetarian fare. The real draw, though, is the pizza: from regular pies, deep-dish, and square Sicilians, all come in one size--16 inches. Choose toppings from the standbys (pepperoni and mushrooms) or more adventurous items (potatoes and jalape?os).

Once you walk into Brooklyn Pizza, you will be amazed. The smell alone is enough to make anyone hungry. The toppings are like most places, but the pizza is made different somehow. Probably in the way the crust is cooked. But it will definetly remind you of back east pizza if you are missing it, you will be in heaven here. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. The place seems to be busy in the evenings, so I suggest calling ahead and placing your order via the phone. Even if you are eatting in. It will save you some time. Refreshments are the same as everywhere else as well. Prices are very competive as well.
PROS: Great Pizza
CONS: Call ahead of time to save time.

I really recommend ordering for lunch since they have great prices for lunch. Pizza has always been good and the slices huge! Try it!

This is an awesome joint. Very popular and I can see why. The pizza is fresh and hand-tossed in front of you. You get a lot for your money. My only complaint is that they didn't put enough sauce on my pizza. I will ask for extra sauce next time. If you like beer they sell that to go as well.
- Pros: Pizza, Ingredients, Value
- Cons: Not enough Sauce
