AASTRO Transmission

RIP OFF ----BEWARE----. I came to this place (on Speedway) because they appeared to be reputable, qualified, and fair. I WON'T be returning, and this is why: They figured out the problem after spending an hour on it (luckily, free!), and offered me an out-the-door quote to get it fixed. I thought it seemed way over-priced so I did my research online and took my vehicle back to get a second opinion. The guy claimed that they install very high quality parts, with a warranty, hence the price. The rebuild of this part was to cost way more than a brand new part (weird, I thought). I instead went to Simmons 4x4 in south Tucson. They gave me a quote of a little more than a third of the cost of Aastro! They performed the work the NEXT day and actually charged me less than the quote! This saved me nearly $500 on a fairly simple fix. I'm pretty sure AAstro takes advantage of those who know little about vehicles or cost (I was given the quote before demonstrating my knowledge). DO YOUR HOMEWORK, AND GO ELSEWHERE!!!…

You showed me what my car needed, priced it, fixed it, and kept to the price and what it needed and most importantly is it was returned to me when you said it would be. Again, thanks so much.…

Beware of this Rip off Shop!. Buyer Beware! George is a smooth talker, nice as can be until you have a problem with their work or their over inflated prices. Then the nice guy tactics seem to fade away. These guys ripped me off bad. Do not sign a consent fee for a break down! Even their break down fee is over inflated in comparision to the competition! Trust me on this people! They wanted to charge me over four thousand dollars for a rebuilt transmission for a Toyota Camry! I called the Toyota dealer and could have purchased a new transmission for less then Aastro wanted for a rebuild. I even had a extended warranty that would have paid Aastro 2500 for the rebuild. They refused and wanted additional two thousand dollars from me! I took my car to Mr. Clutch (Now Gallo) on stone and they worked with my Warranty company and the repair cost me nothing except the rip off fee that Aastro charged me to break down my Transmission. Believe me people, they are a very bad business! They just want your money, I had to call the police to get my car back from them and when I received the car the transmission was in pieces in my trunk. When I got it to the next shop there were missing parts. ( I guess it was the cost for daring to question Aastro for their price gouging tactics) Do yourself a favor, do not trust George, do not trust this business, they are Not someone you want to trust your vehicle to!!…

Over the years. Over the years I have dealt with many auto shops. I will have to say that yours is the best on my list. I've never been treated more fairly. I know when I bring my car in, it will be worked on as if it was your own.
