This company should not be in business. Do yourself a favor and call somebody else.
My experience is as follows: I called them on a warranty repair and after coming in and looking at my new Kicthenaid microwave\oven combo (brand new and failed with errors on the display) he (the owner?) said that he needs to order parts and will get back to me. Waited and no calls and updates until he calls back a few days later to say that “because it was not dispatched directly from Whirlpool he does not want to do the warranty job. I then said that Whirlpool gave me his company and number and asked me to call him directly. His reply then was that it’s too complicated and he doesn’t feel like doing it and I should call somebody else.
Unprofessional, Irresponsible, Unbelievable!
Meanwhile I need to start the process all over again. Should have read the other reviews.
This firm is both rude and unprofessional.
I had a service call scheduled today through my Kitchenaide service plan. My appointment was scheduled on Monday and was supposed to be sometime today (Thursday) between 8 and noon.
I was given their phone number to follow up in case of a problem. When I called around 11:00 today to see if someone could let me know anticipated timing for the service repair I was advised by Pam, the receptionist, that "my part had not come in yet". When I advised her that no one had been out yet and that J & B could not have ordered a part as they had not inspected the unit. I was advised to hold and Pam would look into it. I was on hold for about 10 minutes.
When she returned she advised that she did not have me on her calendar and the best she could do was sometime on Monday and could not even nail down if it was a morning or afternoon appointment. I advised her I would call Kitchenaide and have them contact her to work this out. While I waited on the phone, Kitchenaide called and also got no where with J & B.
Pam, who apparently also handles scheduling, admits she made a mistake to the Kitchenaide representative by not posting the appointment but would not do anything to correct it. She advised the best she apparently can do is get me on the books sometime on Monday. I then requested that Kitchenaide contact the GM at J & B and explain the situation and I understand from them that they got a similar position from him. He agreed they screwed up but would not fix the problem.
I guess I do not understand why J & B made their problem my problem. I took off the morning to be here and to be candid was treated very rudely. Now, I have to waste another day to handle this problem. I can promise you it will not be with that firm.
To be blunt, I will never do business with or recommend this firm in the futre. My experience was horrible.
