I was so excited to try, and so disappointed.. I've been hearing the commercials over and over, and had heard really great reviews. I am American of Mexican descent and have had a ton of homemade Mexican food in my lifetime, and have visted nearly all the "talked about" Mexican food restaurants in Tucson. Well, when I moved to Marana my hubby and I were excited to try it. Well, I don't know if it was a bad night or what...but the my flautas and my husband's chimichanga was over-cooked, the rice was bland, and we could NOT finish the margarita. It wasn't good. The service was amazing and the people were really nice, but unfortunately the food was nasty. I hope it was just a really bad night, but unfortunately for $40 + tip (2 adult meals, a children's meal and one margarita) we don't want to chance it again. I really wanted to love this restaurant. Either all the good reviews were from people who don't know there's better Mexican food out there, or it was just a REALLY OFF night. :(

Grrreat Mexican food!. This family owned and operated Mexican restaurant serves well-prepared Sonoran style food in a clean, pleasant setting. Definitely the best Mexican in Marana!
