Awesome Training from the Best Trainers in Tucson. Can't say enough about the team at SWAT. I love the kettlebell classes, in addition to the Crossfit program, and the variety of programs and classes that I can choose to attend. This is not a typical gym. It's a training facility - so they seem to take this fitness business very seriously, and expect you to as well. If you're serious about results, then invest the money in something you will enjoy and get results from. Highly recommend!
Lean and Clean. My body is lean because of SWAT. This place is great if you are goal oriented and want to change your life and body. I have reworked my lifestyle thanks to SWAT, I train well and eat well (healthy, working on the full Paleo diet now). I achieved my personal goal (lose 15lbs in 3 months), thanks to my trainer and the other gym goers in my group sessions are fun. The people, atmosphere and program are all about motivation. This is by far the best place in Tucson. It is amazing what can happen with the right kind of guidance, I will never join a typical gym again, SWAT is where its at.
This Gym Rocks!. I can't imagine a better program, better trainers, or more conscientious staff. The trainers at SWAT really care about results, and take a lot of extra time to provide accountability, knowledge and support with fitness and nutrition. They have a lot of class times to choose from, which makes it very convenient. And the kettlebells and Crossfit classes are really excellent. It actually makes it fun to work out! What can I say? Excellent personal training and fitness services!
You don't get what you pay for. They really take the personal out of personal training. almost every time after a work out starts the trainers either go to the front counter or just don't pay very much attention to the clients. I can't say if the one on one training is any better due to the insane cost. The trainers rarely seem to be very concerned with the clients. crossfit is an excellent program and one of the best parts about it is the "community" aspect that this gym just doesn't seem to foster. pros- large gym lot's of equipment, the trainers have lot's of certification con's - trainers provide little to no accountability during the work outs
