Wouldn't stay here if somebody paid me!. I stopped at the Quality Inn in London, KY while passing through on business. I say "stopped" because I wasn't actually able to "stay." When I walked into my room, a pungent odor immediately punched me in the nose. It smelled like an ogre had been living there! The stench seemed to emanate from the carpet, so maybe someone with really bad body odor writhed all over the floor? I immediately let the front desk clerk know about the problem and he handed me a can of air freshener, said they didn't have a different room for me, then went back to playing his game of solitaire on the computer. After I used half a can of air freshener, I pulled back the comforter to inspect the bed and found neon orange funk clinging to the blanket! (Cheetos???) So disgusting! I ended up staying at the very nice Holiday Inn for the night, instead.
