My experience with Dr Sherman and her office staff has been regrettably poor. I recently received a test result that required a Colposcopy. The office personnel did not adequately prepare me for this test. In fact, when they told me to come back into the office they did not even state that the test was a Colposcopy, or what I needed to do to prep for the test, or after the test. During the Colposcopy Dr. Sherman was cold, and lacked transparency. She did not tell me what I could expect during the procedure, the pain involved – and duration. During procedure I felt significant pain and disclosed to her that I was hurting and feeling faint. I kept asking what she was doing. She did nothing to reassure me or present options to assist with the pain. When the procedure was complete she did not say anything to me, and just walked out of the room. The nurse came back in, gave me a pad and walked out. She did not provide any instructions for what to expect, care instructions, or even bother to say good bye. When my test results came in, the office staff was rushed, uncaring, and uninformed. After all of this, I found out that they did not run one of the tests I was told would be conducted.

Sadly, this was not a one’off event. Each time I have been to the office, I have to wait a very long time, and the office staff is immature, and lacks professionalism. I am a cancer survivor – with a high risk of repeat cancers. I am young and a Mother. I find it atrocious that Dr. Sherman and her staff have such low regard for my well being.

I have found Dr. Sherman to be arrogant, lacking empathy and patient focus. I will never return to her clinic again.
