A Better Used Computer

BEWARE.... I took in a laptop to be formatted and reloaded with windows XP and was told it would be done in a day or so. Two weeks later and I still hadn't gotten it back, just some excuses that made no sense. (I'm semi-up on computers but have been out of it for a few years and did not have the needed software to do the re-install.) After I got it back home, I discovered that it still had issues and what I had asked to be done was not done at all. (not good) The whole experience left a suspiciously bad taste in my mouth, and I'm out $130. Trust no one and ALWAYS get a written estimate and a receipt. That's what I get for trying to be a nice guy! lol...live and learn. I'll eat the loss and go somewhere else. And NEVER, EVER leave anything on your computer that you are not comfortable with having someone else going through...for any reason!!! ...I hope this helps someone else avoid what I experienced.
