Not recommended. I'm fairly tolerant of bad service as I once waited tables and I know what's it like sometimes but the service here that day was simply unacceptable. We were a group of six, two ordered, two other small groups of customers ordered, then the rest of our group arrived and ordered. Two dishes came out, then about 5 minutes later two more, then about 5 minutes later a fifth. The sixth? Arrived when we were all done eating. Then it was totally wrong so back it went and we waited even longer.

I talked to the cashier who gave excuses, I talked to the manager who gave the same excuses "Oh your party didn't order at the same time". So explain why the guy who ordered FIRST, was one of the last to get his meal, so that excuse went out the window. Then all I got was apologies. When I used to wait tables and then as assistant manager, if a customer got that horrible of service I would never offer excuses and I would discount or even comp the meal.

For the price they charge, the food was simply ok, nothing special. Chips seemed stale. Had fajitas, two small tortillas, small spoonful of meat (again, not great), beans and rice and a salad with a horrible tasting dressing. I will never go there again.

No tourist tacos here.. If you're looking for a place to take Aunt Gertie for Sonoran Mexican food, this isn't it. But if exciting pairings of Mexican spices and healthy, interesting food is what you seek, go to Zivaz. I have eaten all over the menu, and they still keep coming up with entrees that make me want to try them next. Not typical, not traditional, but memorable................I keep going back.

Absolutely unique in Tucson.. My wife and I have been eating at Ziva's at least once a week, and usually more frequently, since they first opened. We have never had anything but an excellent meal and excellent service. It is the first place that we always take out of town guests. You cannot make a bad choice on this menu. Also, if you have a tendency to get bored, there is always the "Tour de Ziva's", which changes almost nightly

Absolutely the Best Restaurant in Tucson. I go to Zivaz every Friday. I order the Salmon Asado and the Salads and the Shrimp Fajitas. Their Tlapeno Soup is the greatest soup I've ever tasted.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a great meal, for a fair price. This is not your typical Mexican Fare!

I love Zivaz!!!

Best Mexican food ever. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had! I love Zivaz! They have great vegetarian options and wonderful salads; the salmon guacamole salad is always terrific. I love their enchiladas that are make your own... that is YOU decide if you want a mole sauce with a vegie filling or any of a number of combinations.

Service is good and the To Go meals are always prepared by the time I arrive. Chips and salsa are also delicious. This is a must place to visit!!!

Best well-priced delicious Mexican gourmet fare. This retaurant is one of the best-kept secrets in Tucson. This is our household's favorite restaurant --we love it even more than some of the pricier places in town. We LOVE their appetizers. And for half-price weekdays 4-6pm, it's a deal no one can beat. Our faves are Queso Fundido and Quesadilla Zivaz.

Great Food and great Service. I am a regular at Zivaz. On average my wife and I eat there once a week. The service is always outstanding. The restaurant is always clan and neat and the food smells great as you walk in the door. I have always been a huge Fajita fan and Zivaz does not disappont. But I would have to say my two favorite entrees there is the Pollo en rajas and their Special Chile Rellano (i wish this was on the menu everyday). I highly recommend this restaurant
