Disappointing. I had dinner at O'Shaugnessy's for a friend's birthday. It sounded promising - an old style Irish bar and restaurant. I guess I was expecting fish and chips and beer-swilling bar songs. But we were pretty disappointed.

The food was sort of old-school "fancy", but it barely surpassed school cafeteria food. And the music was pretty awful. Imagine bad karaoke, but with an old lady plunking out the songs on a piano instead of pre-recorded music. Our waitress was friendly, but she was really absent-minded and inattentive.

I guess we should have heated up some fish sticks at home and watched reruns of Cheers, because O'Shaugnessy's was bad.
