You've tried the rest, come to the BEST!!.
Approx. 6 months ago I had never eaten sushi. To be quit honest the idea of eating raw fish sounded pretty disgusting! Well,i have seen the LIGHT!! I am in Blue Wasabi EVERY week and my mouth waters just thinking about their sushi and sashimi!! I started out with the happy hour sushi and Saki bombers(GREAT prices I might add) but just recently I have moved onto the sampler plate of Sashimi.MMMMMMMMMMMM... MMMMMMMMMMMM....GOOD!!! The Teppanyaki choices are equally as good! I know the owners and staff personally and they are all GREAT people! Prices seem reasonable to me(ESPECIALLY happy hour).Check their hours before going as they are closed mid day to prep for the evening. Give them a try,you WON'T be dissappointed!!

Great food and atompshere.
I absolutely love Blue Wasabi. The food their is very good and the prices are reasonable. Before Bleu wasabi opened I use to always go to Sakura but Blue Wasabi is much better. I ususally do the Teppan and the fried rice is very good. The sushi there is also just as good. I've never had a bad meal there and am always impressed with the teppan chefs.

Blue Wasabi wins by far..
Wherever I go, you'll always find me at the sushi bar. If you're like that too, then please give Blue Wasabi some well-deserved recognition. I've lived in Los Angeles & Dallas where the sushi restaurants are quite competitive, and I think Blue Wasabi can match up to them.
I've been there 4 times since I discovered just 1 month ago, and EACH time the sashimi portions were impressively generous and the rolls were stuffed carefully and generously as well. Inside Blue Wasabi are the best sushi chefs I've found in Tucson so far, and the fish in the sushi window are always fresh (unlike fish some other restaurants I've visited). Sakura has poor sushi quality (and wiped down plates!), Yoshimatsu has ordinary sushi but a cute restaurant, Sushi Garden is has fresh sushi, and Kampai also makes some pretty fresh but ordinary sushi.
I decided to write a review because so far, the sushi reviews on CitySearch have led me into some pretty regular & not-so special sushi bars. Please visit Blue Wasabi, order some sushi & rolls, and tell me what you think :)
Oh- and Blue Wasabi also manages to maintain a hip & trendy environment without comprising their sushi quality. Bring your friends and rate it yourself!
