Broad Appeal. Started using this store after moving to Rita Ranch area. I deal with the pharmacies a lot due to number of RXs due to military injuries (I pay to see a civilian doc for little stuff - too many more desperate kids coming to VA than my little whiney crap).

I have had certain pharmacies repeatedly fail to use the TRICARE copay, fail to get the scripts when promised, run out of meds and fail to notify you, and most arrogant of all, a Walgreen disillusioned doctor actually questioned my MD's decision to up a med!!!

This Fry's is one of the "Super Stores" and has a bit of everything. Granted, some prices may not match the commissary's, but considering fuel and the number of items, this could be a great choice.

I find the produce and fruit fresh organized and clearly marked. This may seem trivial but it demonstrates attention to detail, frequent observation, and planning... not trivial to a military mind.

If I can't find something I have had nothing but energetic and instantaneous assistance. The majority of employees seem to actually enjoy their work and enhance the shopping experience. Yeah, you're wondering ... just how's that work? Well, things like being called, "Sir", having the checkout clerk refer to me by name, having an employee actually respond to your response to, "How are you?" with a relevant response.

I could hit a closer (and nice but smaller Safeway) and do so if possible (it's about 4 miles closer) but Fry's has everything from bandaids to lawn furniture ... sometimes it's just fun walking through the store.
