A Favorite!. Kababeque is our favorite restaurant on University Blvd., the food is delicious and the service is always speedy. I love Phil in the kitchen-- he always remembers us, says hi and makes us feel welcome! His food's the best!
Customer Service is Bad. you should definitely order the food, its to die for however there is this one dude that has no phone manners and is very rude. I suggest they maybe send him to a place where they can help improve his phone skills...
cheats and liars.
I went in this evening and ordered three curries and three nan. It took nearly half an hour, although there were only two orders besides mine. When got home I had two curries and three nan. So I drove back and complained, and the owner told me that I'd got what I ordered. In fact, he had been training a new person, and neither of them paid attention to my order because they were falling over themselves trying to sell me nan.
Mistakes happen, but the owner was hostile and said it was my fault. I asked for my money back but didn't get it. The owner followed me and my family out onto the street trying to tell me his view. I didn't get dinner tonight, but the food isn't good enough that I'll miss it.
Always great food!. I love Kababeque!!! It's close to campus, the food is delicious, and service is very fast. If you are in a rush, avoid it at lunchtime (noon to one) because the place is super crowded and the food takes longer. I love everything they serve- the Que rolls are very satisfying, the curries are to die for, and the mango juice (the lassi not so much) is really good!
Tasty and Quick.
I do not know about the service inside the restaurant as I've always had it delivered, but I will say that everything they have is fantastic. The saag paneer (spinach and cheese dish) is awesome, but the masalas are to die for. Their paneer (homemade cheese) is fresh and tasty, and they can be ordered in mild, medium, or hot. The mild is a touch spicier than one would expect, but not in a bad way, and not in a way that would upset an ulcer or a tummy. The service over the phone is great, but they do tend to get a bit lost in new locations. And yet they still get to your house in thirty to forty-five minutes from when you end your call, and nothing is ever cold or lukewarm. Also, the strawberry lassi is fantastic!! Chai is a little bit weak, so you'd be better off making your own.
All in all, from what I've heard over the phone and the food I've received, Kebabeque is great for a quick meal.
