Tacos and burritos are custom-made with fresh ingredients at this industrial-chic Mexican chain..
In Short
Boasting a sleek decor of blond wood, raw steel and exposed pipes, this taqueria hums with conversation and an eclectic mix of piped-in salsa, rock and reggae. Patrons--mostly on-the-go professionals and parents with kids in tow--line up at an assembly-line style counter for hard and soft tacos or burritos (regular, fajita-style or without the tortilla) made with fillings like grilled chicken or steak, free-range pork or shredded beef.
Good not great.
The carnita's burrito is very tasty and if you request additional ingedients the staff happily applies them. The salsa is a bit on the vinegary side for my tastes but still good. The "fajita vegtables" make the burrio's more than they would be on their own.
Slightly expensive for what you get but the staff has always been accomodating and friendly.
It is a busy location so be prepared to stand in line a few minutes.
Good Fast Food. For fast food, this is very good. The menu is limited, but they do what they do well. Whle it is not gourmet eating, everything I've ever had here has been much more tasty than typical fast food, and the service has always been fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean, sunny, and attractively decorated, a much nicer place to eat a quick meal than your typical burger or taco chain. It is slighly more expensive than some, but is a better overall value as well. If you are in a hurry, I recommend you drive by your usual fast food joints and stop here.
