Spend your money some where else!. This restaurant was a big disappointment. We live about 10 minutes away so were really hoping it’d work out being it’s so convenient. My husband and I decided to eat here last night on our date night. We walked in the door and stood around for a minute without anyone recognizing us. When someone did notice we were waiting, they yelled at us across the dining room. No joke. We were seated and then had to wait another 5-10 minutes to have our drink order taken. I ordered lemonade and quickly found out they serve something with an artificial sweetener (allergic). Our dinner salads came minutes before our meal. The Italian dressing was horrible… so much garlic it was too spicy to eat. The roll they give you with dinner was a joke. I watched them take it out of the fridge, which explains why it was cold, rock hard and dry. I couldn’t even spread butter on it it was so crumbly. I ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo which was pricey ($16) and bland. My husband ordered the stuffed ravioli with roasted garlic & shrimp and stated it was “okay”. While my husband was asking the waitress for a spoon & another “roll”, another waitress came up, interrupted him mid sentence and started having her own conversation with our waitress. And our waitress proceeded to have a conversation with her, making my husband wait until they were done. Rude. We witnessed another waitress do some sort of booty shaking dance in front of everyone. Didn’t know I was paying for a show with dinner. You can see the “chefs” in the back cooking and I witnessed two young boys (maybe 18-20) cooking the orders in between texting and joking around. Also, be warned that there are two kids running around this restaurant. I’m pretty sure they are one of the owner’s kids. It was 8pm when we left and at that point the one year old had been screaming her head off. We left our two young kids at home to get away from temper tantrums and little did I know it’s normal around Argenziano’s. The restaurant was also very loud and crowded. Needless to say… we will NOT be going back anytime soon and will warn our friends in Vail not to bother.
Owner Ripped Me Off. Owner ripped me off. A group of about 30 folks from my office went to a going away luncheon here on May 4, 2010. For a large group each person is assigned a number and you stand up at the register at the end to pay. The owner, at the register, was busy talking to a waitress and a couple customers at the bar as I was paying. I handed him a $20 and he only gave me change for a $10. When I told him I had given him a $20, his snotty reply was “well why did I punch in ten.” He had not laid the bill on top of the change drawer, as you should, when you are giving change. He said he had “screwed up” by not doing that and angrily threw a $10 bill at me. I told him I was not trying to rip him off and would be happy to return the $10 if his register came up short. He said “no I will just take it out of the girl’s tips.” I was speechless, so I asked his to repeat it. He said the same thing about shorting the waitresses. I slid the $10 back to him and told him I did not want him shorting his waitresses. What a jerk! My office has had several going away luncheons here, as well as regularly going there for lunch on Friday’s. No More! Mr. Owner, you need to learn how to treat customers. You just cut off your nose to spite your face and lost a lot of future business!
Great Italian food!.
Large servings. Great Chicken parm
Haven't had a dish I didn't like.
AMAZING PARMESAN!!. Argenziano's has a uniquely comfortable atmosphere. Family owned and operated with genuine italian recipes. You MUST try Deb's homemade italian dressing and the Chicken or Eggplant parmesan. Their pizza's are always delicious because they use fresh ingredients and they NEVER skimp. The portions are huge and the prices are low. It's such a refreshing place to enjoy lunch or dinner and with family all around it's great to bring the kids and socialise.
It's a must for authentic Italian Food. The pizza is the best you will find out here. Like a slice of Jersey Pie. Try Ray's Special or the white pie. This is a great family ran place for families to go enjoy a great dinner! Forget the chain places, there is nothing like a family place for Great, Authentic Italian Food. The alfreado is to die for. Forget the New Year's Resolution for this. Get's busy, but that is a testiment to the following that this place has. Go there, it's worth the trip!
Best Pizza In Town. Great service, reasonably priced, best Italian this side of the Mississippi. The place is packed on weekends which is testimony to its great food.
Yum! Crowded, but worth it! Great Service and Yummy food!. We had the chicken parmesan and the fettucini chicken alfredo and the were both delicious! Huge portions too! My husband said it was the best Alfredo he's ever had and my Parmensan was definitely one of the best ever. Not a fancy place, feel no need to dress up, and very family friendly if you want to bring your kiddos. Very loud- lots of people there! We will definitely go back- the staff were friendly and prompt, the food was delicious, overall it was a 10! We were very happy to discover it! (They also do take out :) )
Best Pizza this side of NY. The pizza, sandwiches, and calzones are great! A great family owned business, not like those chains in town. If you are in Tucson, worth the trip! The food is very good so maybe crowded, but believe me, it's worth the wait. Can't fo wrong there, never have had a bad meal in the 2+ yrs.
Great Pizza & Sandwiches. The best calzones in the Tucson area. Pizzas are great and the sandwiches too. Make sure to ask for a side of Ray's vinaigrette to go with it! Theie real French Fries make a great side dish too.
It's Great. Go for the white pie! All the pizzas & dinners are very good.
