I can assure anyone who reads this that ANY positive comment was done by the doctors themselves and are definitely FAKE!! I know from personal experience working there that this is by far the worst ran sleep clinic and lung doctors ever. I have worked all over the United States and have worked for some pretty harsh doctors. NOTHING OR NOONE COMPARES TO HOW NASTY THESE DRS ARE!!!! It is absolutely horribly sad how horrible the staff and patients are treated. May God have mercy on their souls.

Do not go work there or go there as a patient even if your life depended on it. You are better off somewhere else. They go through staff like crazy and treat them very badly. Their work conditions are dangerous a bunch of medical records all thrown on the floor while their staff trips over them. Dr. Sarah Puri is constantly yelling at her employees and disrespecting them for not billing for the most expensive procedure even if the patient doesn't need it.Can we say medical coding fraud! They do care about the patients health just after your money.They yell at their patients and talk bad about them. Bless their souls for they shall be judge soon.

This is the worst place I would never in my right mind ever suggest anyone going here. The office staff is hateful and fails to let you know there is a problem when you arrived 20min before appointment. The decide to say they are not going to see you when the week before when I was there everything was fine and I had to wait over an hour for my appointment. The office manager came out and shoved her fingers in my face and proceeded to try and yank my book out of may hand. I told her I can do the same thing and stuck my fingers in her face and said ya yayayaya. Then I asked her do you like it when people stick there fingers up in your face. She proceeded to tell me she was calling the police because I scared her when I did that, but it is ok for her to do and yank my book from me. I think not. This is the nastiest and foulest spoken staff I have ever seen. I know God was looking down on them and thinking of the Sodom and Gomorrah. I don't have any clue how this place can still be in business with the way they treat people. Something needs to be done.

I am impressed with the staff and Dr Puri. I got in quickly. Very respectful staff and doctor. I have referred my mother and my aunt to the practice. We are all very happy.

Long wait times, unprofessional staff, high turnover,... I was referred to Pima Lung after 2 sleep studies done at another clinic. During 2 years of treatment, I had 2 more sleep tests and several pulmonary function tests done. I also had nasal surgery upon Dr Puri's recommendation. None of this appears to have noticeably improved my sleep apnea. When a lung xray by another Dr. showed a growth in my lung, I had to make multiple requests for Dr. Puri's office to take responsibility for follow-up studies. About 6 months after my initial visit, I was handed off to another physician, Dr. Haloftis, with no explanation whatsoever. After a year in his care, I showed up for an appt. and was told he no longer worked there, again with no explanation. I had to insist on seeing Dr. Puri instead of his new nurse practitioner. The office staff is constantly changing, and most have minimal or no customer service training. Some staff members are deliberately rude, including the PFT tech. Others seem clueless. They lose phone messages and records all the time and do not return phone calls. Office wait times are longer than at any other physician's office I go to. Dr. Puri does not like being questioned, nor does he take complaints about his office staff seriously. His clinic's website, designed by his wife, asks patients to submit confidential medical information over a completely insecure website interface. Initially, his practice seemed designed to pack the maximum number of patients in, and Dr. Puri seemed reluctant to spend much time with patients. This has recently changed due to patient complaints and Dr. Haloftis' unexpected departure. It is hard not to get the impression that the people who work for him flee after a few months, and as others have suggested, there are always reasons for this. Check patient ratings on Healthgrades:

Great Tucson Pulmonologist. After searching for many years to find a pulmonologist I could trust and have confidence in - I finally found Dr. Amitab Puri. I am greatful for Dr. Puri's skill and appreciate his respect towards his patients. Dr. Puri encourages my autonomy and “independent decision making," by objectively presenting me with options and odds. He encourages me to actively exchange ideas, explicitly discuss any concerns to serve in my best interest.

Dr. Puri offers recommendations that promote a respectful collaboration between patient and physician so that I can autonomously make informed choices that focus on both the medical facts and his experience.

The office is centrally located which is convenient and the office staff is always professional and goes the extra mile to communicate and make my experience with them a positive one.

Dr. Puri is a great Pulmonologist and he truly cares for those he serves.

They treat the employee very wrong!!. This place is always hiring cause they treat the employees here HORRIBLE! They scream and yell at them in front of patients. They don't train them what so ever hiring anyone that they can (even those with NO EXPERIENCE) and then firing them cause they do something wrong and don't meet their expectations. The staff there informs those that pick up the phone that if someone wants to see a dr and has an outstanding test like a PFT or EKG they are to schedule them for the Dr visit BUT at the same time schedule them for the missed tests so they can get the money for them. So the patients come in thinking they are coming in to speak to a Dr about what's going on and being thrown into a bunch of tests keeping them at the office for HOURS!! Not a good place they also look at the following days clinic files and see what they can do as far as test BEFORE YOU ARE EVEN SEEN! This is shady and unacceptable. DON'T go to this office. You will get scammed! If you don't believe me check out your file while they call you back the notes for what recommended tests are paper clipped to the front of your file. Of course now that I have exposed this they will find some other place to put it to give the Dr a heads up! And if you want to see a REAL Dr that knows what he is doing and has compassion and treats the staff well... See Dr Haloftis. Dr Puri is unprofessional and he is the one you hear screaming at his staff.... SOME TO TEARS!!!!

Excellent!!. Dr. Puri is an excellent Physician who truly cares about his patients. We are very fortunate to have such a fine Physician practicing here in Tucson. His staff is very professional, friendly and helpful whenever I'm in his office. Thank you Dr. Puri for your everything you do!!

Relieved. I am grateful for the care my mother received from Dr. Puri and the staff at Pima Lung. Dr. Puri and his staff exceeded my expectations! Dr. Puri took the time to listen to my mother and treated her with tremendous patience. Sometimes this is not easy to do when it comes to the elderly. Believe me, I have seen how rude other doctors can be and it was so refreshing to go to a doctors office where the staff was courteous and Dr. Puri was wonderful!! I cannot say enough good things about Pima Lung. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Amazing Dr!!. Excellent MD! I am absolutely surprised by the negative reviews of Dr. Puri and office staff! Those comments can't be further from the truth which is what prompted me to sign up on CitySearch and write about my experience with Pima Lung and Sleep.

I'm a middle aged woman who has seen more than my fair share of dr's due to illness but I've never had a physician like Dr Puri, who genuinely cared about me, who listened to my concerns, didn't make me feel like a fool & never rushed. Dr Puri obviously sets the tone for the entire office staff because they are professional, kind and friendly.

I've been to see Dr Puri more than once and a few weeks ago, Dr. Puri spent over 40 minutes with me in a consultation. I am sorry my treatment was so time-consuming because it delayed appointments for other patients but I am extremely grateful Dr. Puri took the time necessary to care for me properly.

I believe that for the first time in my life, I've found a true partner in my health care with Dr. Puri... wish I had that relationship with my primary physician.
