Fair at best. Having lived many years in Japan, I have high standards. Being new to Tucson, this was my first local experience with sushi andSushi Tran just didn't measure up. The nigiri was poorly cut and the presentation was poor. A couple of the cooked rolls had been pre-made and were a bit dry.

The restaurant has the style of a diner, the prices are high, and the selection is limited. I'll keep looking and let you know what I discover.

Nice place to hang out. Tucson is not known for sushi but they do a very good job. Their soups are a must have when feeling under the weather and a take out only takes a few minutes if you drop in. They do a modest happy hour business and there are always interesting people sitting up at the bar. Not crazy for the new fried rolls with mayo etc. but the standard sushi fare is fresh and well prepared.
