Treated horribly. Never Again. Sorry to disappoint: This too was our favorite, not anymore.

This is a portion of the letter written to Dave Molina telling him we will not return as long as his daughter is still working there. The incident took place at La Casita de Molina 3220 W. Valencia rd, on Dec. 3, 2010.

All we asked was that we have a different server.

It began when a very kind gentleman took my order of soup to begin the meal and he later came over and said another server would help us because he was now off duty. However, this sever was busy visiting with people at the adjacent table and just ignored us. This continued for about 15 minutes when the other waiter (who said his name was Jose Escalante) came over and asked us if we were ready to order the main meal and we told him yes. He then tapped the other server on the shoulder and told her, “These people are ready to order.” The server became rather sarcastic raising her arms loudly saying, “here I am.” Yet, she continued to talk to the other table not even recognizing that we were there.

After about ten minutes the other waiter again approached and said,” I’ll help you.” By then the other server came over and said I’ll help them. I responded by saying we would like him (Jose) to serve us. At this point the server became very irate raising her voice saying: “This is my station. His is back there.”

I then responded by saying, “Then we will move to his station.” This evidently set the server off and she started grabbing our drinks and utensils saying, “Here I’ll help you move to his station.” As she walked away, we heard her say; “I’ve never seen anything more ridiculous in my life.”

At this point, I told her we had just lost our appetite and I asked her to get the manager. She began telling us, “I am Karen Molina the owner’s daughter.” I then walked over to the cashier in order to pay for what we had ordered and asked her for the manager or owner. She said he was not there so I asked for his name. From the dining room, Karen yelled at her, “Don’t give him anything.” “Don’t take any of his money. Sir, you have to leave.” She then got in my face saying, “You have a complaint, you complain to me.” I then told her I was going to let other people how we were being treated and that if I did not get any cooperation, she would be reading about this incident on the Internet. She said: I don’t care. Sir you have to leave.”

As we were walking out Jose Escalante told us the owner’s name is Dave Molina.

We will never return as long as Karen is still working there.

Best Restaurant in the South West Tucson. Best service in town. Great food, be careful of the margaritas because they catch up to you quick! A good place for bigger groups.
