Poor Food and even worse service!. On a recent visit to Tucson, we stopped for lunch, the service and food were both of poor quality. Beyond a doubt our waitress who was Hispanic made it more than clear that we were on the wrong turf! Too bad she hadn't learned that the only race is that of human!

I concur with the above comment. Yup, i had to wait 40 minutes one time before even getting water. I don't know why I even aited that long, i was with a group of friends and I lost track of the time. but overall, everything the above comment says, happened in the same way to me.

Known for its breakfasts, this diner chain slings all-American grub and bottomless cups of coffee.. In Short
With its kid-friendly vibe, booth seating and late-night hours (most stores are open 24 hours), Denny's draws night owls, seniors and families with kids. The menu sticks to classic American staples: wings, chicken strips, burgers, salads and the like. But breakfast is king, with specialties ranging from skillets, egg scrambles, French toast platters and several variations on the famous Grand Slam: two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, two bacon strips and two sausage links.

Great Food -Terrible Service. This Denny's is just down the road from where I pastor and is conveinent for me to take people out to eat after church services. However, for the past several years we've gone in to eat and would be ignored by waitresses and find managers avoiding any contact with the customers. There has been more than once that we've finally had to leave after not getting any service.

Over the years we've gone by to this Denny's thinking things would improve only to find they have not. On at least two occassions they tried to seat us at tables that were so dirty we could not sit without soiling our clothes. When we brought it to the attention of the hostess she just shrugged it off. She tried sitting us somewhere else that was just as dirty. We left in front of a manager that wished us a good day as we were walking out the door, but not before we saw the hostess telling him of our complaint. The manager didn't care.

On one occasion after waiting an hour for our food and not seeing our server for more than 40 minutes we finally left. We had observed two other tables doing the same thing during the wait of our food.

Several times we've ordered off the menu only to find they were out of that item.

Our experience with this Denny's has caused us to avoid it at all cost.
