Favorite Tortillas Ever!.
The best thing about this place is the flour tortillas, which you can buy to go! I love the food as well, but the tortillas are my favorite in town!!!!!!!!!!!! And you can watch them make them right in front of you.
I've had bad luck with service here, as previous reviews have also mentioned, but I've also had good service.
Won't go again!. We've been going to Mosaic Cafe for years. The food was always good and the service was quick and efficient (though never too friendly). On a recent trip there it was evident that things had changed for the worse. While I won't say that the food was bad, I will say that everyone we met there from the hostess to the bartender was surly and obviously didn't want to be bothered. We will never go back. If you're in the neighborhood, you're much better off at Mariscos Chihuahua.
Food used to be good; Service was terrible.
Recently we went to Teresa's and it has gone downhill. The food was much better a year ago, and it seems like the appearance of Bobby Flay has created real arrogance with the owner.
We recently had a small gathering of 10 people and the owner came out yelling about that we had been there too long. We had made reservations for 15-20 but alas not everyone came, so we gave back the other tables. She yelled that we didn't have enough people and that she was going to charge us $25/hour for the space. She didn't mention this until we had been there for 90 minutes. There were several empty tables when we were there so I don't think space was the issue. Teresa's unbusinesslike attitude was rude and embarassed the guest of honor.
The food wasn't on par with her own cooking a year prior and was a disappointment too. We used to eat here regularly when we came to visit family in Tucson, but won't do it any more.
Great Food!. Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Tucson. We've been there many times and the food has been consistently excellent and the service great. The staff have been friendly and efficient on every visit. Try the fresh tortillas, they are fantastic.
Can I have my Mexican without an attitude!.

While trying to make a reservation, Alfanso (Manager) seemed to think it was okay to hang up on me because I asked to make a reservation for that night. Apearantly they stop taking reservations at 5pm, and I was calling at 5:15. I have been to this restaurant many times and although the service and food has been okay to date, I will never return due to this outrageous, offensive service.
There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in town in the same price range that are just as nice, i.e. Guadalajara, La Fuente, Rosa etc. At these places you don't have to smell McDonald's as you walk in the door.
Best Mexican food and Great Customer Service. I have had nothing but great food and great service at this restaurant. The one time that I have had to wait for any length of time to get a table was a Saturday night. They treated us like kings and queens once we did get to our table and gave us the fastest and most courteous service I have ever had at a restaurant. It was well worth the wait. Their food is the best around and I have never had bad service. It is family owned, and that is apparent from the time you walk in the door, till the time you pay your bill and and leave. It has always been a warm atmosphere for me. I don't believe I have ever walked out of this restaurant without a sincere, thank you for coming, from someone.
customer service is awful. average food and awful customer service, will not return to this restaurant at all!!!! Waiters are treated poorly!!!
