Great staff. A few weeks ago we visited Cracker Barrel Resturaunt on Cortero in Tucson. My husband has dementia and had a little "accident". The manager on duty was so very awesome and helped me by standing guard at the bathroom door and was kind and discreet. Thank you for aiding in keeping his dignity.......

not my WORST breakfast but close. First time ever, I won't make that mistake again. I have read the reviews, the 5 stars ratings must be native Tucsonans or employees. This place is horrible, it is clean and comfortable, hence the star. The service is slightly below Tucson standard which is one step above France, (for tucson people, that means it SUCKS!). The food was edible but barely. However the orange juice was awesome. The prices for what you get are a little high, but understandable. I have been a secret shopper. If I was shopping this place someone would be fired if not closed down. If I DO secret shop again I won't go to cracker barrel I would rather pay for Mcdonalds where no one speaks English, than to not only eat for free but get paid for writing a review. I'm not sure how you can stay in business, unless most of your patrons are from here and don't know any better. Please do us a favor shut your doors, and tear the building down.

A little ole' country general store serving down-home foods and goods since 1969.. In Short
Originating in Lebanon Texas, this country store and restaurant has branched out all over the U.S. The décor includes old advertising signs, farm equipment, early kitchen appliances and photos which complement the country-style seating. Their menu includes home-style comfort foods like meatloaf and house-made mashed potatoes daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to stop into the gift shop for souvenirs and a variety of knick-knacks.

Seriously?. I can not believe Cracker Barrel rates as one of Tucson's Best Breakfast places! Incredible. That's like rating MacDonald's #1! It's a nice enough place, but it's cookie-cutter -- looks like every other Cracker Barrel in the USA. Same mediocre food, unenthusiastic service and dimly lit atmosphere as the other 1500 of them...what's so special about that? This restaurant probably enjoys popularity due to its proximity to the interstate and motels, and the lack of decent restaurants nearby. Save your $$ and go to IHOP or MacDonald's down the road a bit.

Dont eat here. I not only did not enjoy the food but the service was lousy and there are many other breakfast resturaunts to dine at than Cracker Barrel

countryblah hype. hard to get too, food is typical southern hype, rarely meets what mom would make satndards.

then you have to wend your way past the real bussiness tourist trap goods. somewhere in the trip from georgia the pot fell off the wagon.

The Food Sucks. The food was very salty. The service was lousy. I rank service by how many times they refill my soda or coffee without having to ask. You had to pull teeth to get a refill or even find the waitress once the food was delivered tothe table. Tip $0.01

Old Timer Infestation. It is shocking to me that the Cracker Barrel is considered the top breakfast place in Tucson. Tucson has many wonderful restaurants that dont revolve around hill billy motifs such as this one. The food is bland and nothing spectacular. Its exactly what youd expect from a chain restaurant whose main concern is to bring in truck drivers and seniors. The worst part of this establishment is the decor and environment. If you are comfortable with the tacky ranch style, hometown table clothes, and the out in the prairie wall decorations, then you probably eat here all the time. Youll probably feel right at home if you are accustomed to the nursing home odors of the large parties of seniors who waddle in here like cattle from the range. However, if you are not part of the nursing home or retirement community, this is definitely not the place for you.

Love Uncle Hershal. My favorite breakfast is the Uncle Hershal!! Two Eggs, choice of meat (I LOVE the grilled catfish), hashbrown cassarole, grits and biskets and gravy!!!

Cracker Barrel has the best selection of breakfast entrees in TUCSON!!
