EL MOLINITO-INA RD-TUCSON, AZ. My family have been customers of El Molinto for many years...in restaurant. take-out- and catering. We had lunch there today; and, were truly disappointed in the quality of the food and condition of the restroom facilities. I hope the kitchen is cleaner and more modern than the ladies' room. Dirt and residuals have been mopped over and over again into corners; broken open floor drain, which is also filthy; old sink, faucets, and small sink counter, obvious shabby repairs, etc. All the windows need cleaning and the old carpet is cruddy. I'm surprised the Health Dept hasn't shut them down. I do not plan on patronizing the Ina Rd facility until they spend some of their pesos cleaning it up.

Looking for Chihuahuan Mexican Food in Tucson. Can't rate this restaurant as I've never been and I'm not a fan of Sonoran Region Mexican food. If anyone knows of a place in town that serves Mexican food from the Chihuahuan region, that would be awesome! Thanks.

Authentic Mexican Food in Tucson. Tucson has some good Mexican food but if you are looking for real authentic Mexican food I would most definitely recommend El Molinito. This place has food that has the real raw flavors of Mexican food. My favorite dish is the bean burro enchilada style. I love how the cheesy beans are mixed with the red enchilada sauce all inside a soft tortilla.

I have always had a good experience at El Molinito, the only issue I have ever had is with the bathrooms, and they are not very clean. The restaurant theme is cultural themed to Mexico, such as the Mexican artifacts on the wall and bright colors of Mexico are shown throughout the restaurant, such as on the chairs and tables. The place is a hole in the wall, so because it is small means that presentation is not the most elegant, it is very causal. But if you have issues with how the restaurant looks you should order your food for take out. When you order out the food it is just as good you just do not have to deal with the appearance if you choose to do so.

Overall it is a great place to eat, for me I love to sit in El Molinito to get the full effect. You are served great food in a small restaurant and I always walk out happy. There is also the plus that the prices are cheap. So you are able to leave with a full stomach that is content without totally draining your bank account.

Sub Par Food. It's a tie between La Fuente and El Molinito for worst Mexican food. I've tried the food at El Molinito at two of their locations and neither was any better. The only positive comment I have is that their lunches are pretty cheap. Then again, or cares if the food isn't any good? Sorry guys.

It's Tucson folks. To be fair, there are few really good places to eat in Tucson. That being said, El Molinito is no exception. This town is simply not on the map when it comes to good food and customer service. Ground beef taco meat? What's up with that? Can you say Taco Bell, but much greasier? The food isn't horrible it just tastes like it's ben sitting out all day and then reheated to order. Oh, and the most bitter iced tea!
