best service. I had the most wonderful experience at Spirit! My girlfriends and I all did full days of beauty. Not only were all the services and staff wonderful, but Lissa, the salon coordinator did such an awesome job pulling it all together. There were so many services, that I am sure it would be easy to have them overlap or have downtimes between them, but Lissa was awesome. She was professional and precise from the time I called to book the appointment straight through until we settled the bill and left the salon. If there is anything you need, call and speak to Lissa, and she will make sure everything is perfect!!
Can't Imagine Tucson Without Danitza!! Really.. Tucson and I am lucky to have Spirit Salon's Danitza. She has been taking care of my waxing needs for 5 years and I love her and the results each and every time. I don't go to the same nail, hair, or dentist more than twice and I don't buy the same brand of anything each month. Danitza is the only person/brand I have loyalty to because she cares about her clients and the results. And she does an amazing job each time. The kind of job where people say, "you have great brows!" Really, I just have a great Danitza! She is fun, thoughtful, and a major asset to Tucson and its unruly hair.
Amazing service!. Awesome! I had an amazing experience from head to toe! I started with a manicure and pedicure with Arrah. They were fantastic! My highlights with Adam were exactly what I asked for and exceeded my expectations. I finished up with a beautiful makeup application with Kylyn. I walked out feeling beautiful, confident, and refreshed. I cannot belive the review before mine (AZ2) was so negative....I am sorry she had a bad experience, but this surely cannot be the norm.
AWFUL Stressful Experience!. I waited all week for this much needed appointment---a pedicure and massage---great way to end the week. This was my first time visiting this salon and it will be my last. I was greeted with an attitude and tension all around. Oh boy, I didn't need this---who would? The pedicure went well, but honestly, I've had better pedicures for much less money. After the pedicure I was taken down the hall to wait for my massage. I waited and waited. She finally arrived and apologized for being late. She was very nice, but the massage was unpleasant, the room had problems with air conditioning and I cut my hour massage to a half hour. I was sweating and uncomfortable in such a hot room and wanted to get out of there! The vibe was creepy. I overheard an employee tell another client there were problems with the air conditioner. OK, so they comped the massage, but the attitude all around me was so unpleasant . If you want mature, professional treatment, remove Spirit Salon from your destination.
MONICA ROCKS!!!!!.
This is now my third time getting my hair cut by MONICA and she is absolutely amazing! If your looking for a new hair stylist, she is your woman! I have extremely thick long hair that is annoying wavy, not pretty wavy. I have never been able to get my hair to lay right. Monica was able to thin my hair out and give me a cut that has enabled me to wear my hair down even if I just let it air dry after a shower. And she is super super sweet and easy to talk to! GO see Monica and you won't be disappointed.
Also I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the salon was! It has a very nice warm feeling to it. Very clean, professional, and well decorated. Don't let the outside looks of the building deceive you.
This is a great place, I've recommended it to a lot of my friends!
Amazing extensions.
I had previously cut my hair very short, after two months i no longer wanted short hair and missed my long hair. i had been told by more then one salon that my hair was too short for extensions and that if they tried the results wouldn't look good. that led me to find other salons, i was actually recommended to Spirit by another Hair stylist who had her extensions done there and said it was the best place to go, i called them that day and scheduled my appointment for the following day. The employees were all very friendly, i met Autumn Acevedo, who is the extension specialist, i told her what i was looking for and the difficulties, she told me she could do it and quoted me and i scheduled my day. i couldn't be happier with the results, she did an absolutely amazing job, sitting hours in the chair was beyond worth it, she completely transformed my hair, she's very talented and i loved talking with her the whole time, really nice and outgoing girl. i would recommend her to tall my friends and family.

BEST BACK HOME VISIT.......... My husband and I are originally from tucson, but we currently live in Hawaii. At this time, he is deployed in Iraq and when he had his R&R time off ( only 2 weeks home ) we both came home to tucson to visit family. He was complaining about his back really hurting him from his long flights. We visited Spirit and had the opportunity of getting a wonderful massage from Dolly that truely helped my husband feel MUCH better. I recieved a facial from Kylyn and I was relaxed and refreshed.Customer service was excellent from all staff from the moment we walked in. We will return again as soon as we can.. I highly recommend everyone to at least try once for yourself and you will go back too!
Georgia's the Best!. The best part of this salon is Georgia. She greets you with the nicest smile, and makes you feel like you're the most important person who just walked in. I can't wait to go back!
Washed up impostors.
Booked a day at Spirit Salon which entailed Massage, wax, cut and color. This was a first time visit and consequently my last.
My massage was the first of my appointments which was great. It was relaxing, progressive and flowed. My wax was 2nd which was a rude awakening after my massage but no fault to them I should've booked it first. As I am waiting for my hair I over hear a conversation between the manager/owner about my hair appointment never being booked. The conversation carries on into the hair area and back to the front where the owner/manager says book it with Cindy. As I sit there waiting for 30min. no one comes to address me about my non-existing appointment. As I get up to address the problem I hear someone shout my name so disgruntled I almost hesitated to admit that was me. To make a long story short, Cindy who obviously did not want to do my hair was so rude I blame myself for not getting up and leaving within the first ten min. of our interaction. To make things worse she colored my hair the wrong color and cut my hair shorter on one side then on the other. When I finally complained about my lop sided hair I heard the "owner" says "don't look at me I'm not fixing it". So the manager suggested another stylist to fix it which I agreed and as I sat in the new stylist chair I was getting dirty looks the entire time from Cindy. Visiting from New York I can take rude any given day but this was just unprofessional all the way round. As I sat there I was thinking what did I do to this poor girl but book a couple of appointments. To top it all off as I was changing back into my blouse I could hear arguing over who was getting paid for doing my hair. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
After 5 hours at Spirit Salon I left more stressed than I did walking in not to mention my hair being the wrong color and a haircut comparatively shorter due to the lop sided fix that had to be reconciled. I received no discount, was charged full price and had no intention of giving them one more minute of my time. I would've paid $400.00 with no argument as long as I was out of that hell hole.
This pseudo salon is full of what seems to be washed up impostors of the real deal. They all need to continue their education in their line of trade work and management needs to invest in how to run a successful, thriving and customer service friendly business.
