Best Subs Ever!!. I drive 2 plus hours from Phoenix just to get my fill of the best subs I have ever had. We tailgate at football games and the food is loved by all!!
East really does meet West. This place really does exceed expectations. The subs here are phenomenal, as I would expect the rest of the food to be for the owner is the chef who has brought a 45 year family business to our little valley. For those sports buffs, this place is jam packed FULL of memorabilia. There's not a bare spot on the walls, or ceilings! The only issue you may have is finding the bathroom among this vast collection. Everything Jersey, Philly, and NY can be found here wether it be sports, entertainment, or the best part....the food. Service here was beyond 4 stars, even the other wait staff would come check in and chat with us. And don't be surprised if the owner comes around and shares some his east coast charm. We left there feeling like one of the family. A place definitely not to be missed!
Everybody I know likes EC Subs. We meet there on a regular basis with people in our age group (50's) and our kids love it (University Students). A variety of foods and it is a reasonably priced "watering hole". I read the negative review given, but don't agree. It is, after all ,a neighborhood bar/sub shop and I wouldn't be there if it had the sterile look of fast food competition. I haven't seen anything that would indicate unsafe food preparation or practice.
Avoid completely. I have visted east coast on two different days, it would have only been once if my boyfriend who never tried it didnt make me go my second time. When i entered the resteraunt the majority of the tables were dirty and the food took a while to get to my table, by that time the bread my cheese steak was on was soggy to no end. I have definetly enjoyed subs and cheese steaks at many places, unfortuneatly east coast was not one of those places,
Avoid at all costs!!!. I used to love this place. Well I am disappointed to say that this no longer is a place that I crave. Let me start with the customer service... There isn't any. Also the cleanliness has gone way down hill. Last time I went the ketchup was expired. The ketchup!!! How long does ketchup has to be out in order to expire. It smelled horribly. My wife almost threw up. When I told the waitress about our situation and that I had already poured ketchup on my fries she simply took our fries away without even apologizing. I know it wasn't her fault, I don't think, but you still expect a little caring. She brought back a fresh basket of fries but never took the bad ketchup with her. I had to get up and get another bottle from another table. No sorry, no free fries=no more business from me. If you are miserable with your job quit, but don't take it out on your customers. Seems to be a popular trend now at East Coast Subs.
Broadstreet Bully. You can't get a better cheese steak anywhere in town outside of Philly. The servers are cool. The ower is often found in the back with his wife as a server. This place is awesome. I've taken atleast 3 dates here for some east coast style. I really can't say enough good things about this place.
