Lard is dead, long live Canola oil! Recent oil change aside, Casa Molina remains an old-guard, classic Sonoran restaurant.. The Scene: Casa Molina endures as one of the city's real veterans. Founded in 1947, Casa Molina's chimichangas may be a little skinnier than elsewhere, but everything else on the menu is long, chubby, or otherwise amply proportioned, and meat eaters laud the smoky carne seca. Casa Molina has locations at 6225 E. Speedway, 3001 N. Campbell Avenue, 4240 E. Grant Road, and in the Foothills Mall at 6781 Thornydale Road . Most locations offer live entertainment toward the weekend, but only the Speedway restaurant has its own curio shop.
