Don't Waste Your Money!. With Tucson being so close to the Mexican border, this was the first time that I've had terrible Mexican food and service in the 12 years that I've lived here. The salsa tastes like it was made with Ketchup or Tomato Soup, the worst I've ever had. Our party waited for 45 minutes, and then they brought us all the wrong order. Then when our food never showed up we left, and they still had the nerve to charge us for the Ice Teas we drank. We all wasted over an hour in the place without ever getting a meal. The waitress blamed in on the cook. I'll never go there again or recommended them. We went to their establishment on Kolb, perhaps, the others who gave them good reviews visited their other restaurant in Tucson because they certainly didn't go to them same place we did.

Dirty.. Slow service. Extremely messy. Staff needs to learn English. Bad food. Simply put.

Not very good. After reading previous reviews written a few years back it is obvious that things have changed. The food was mediocre at best, the service was slow, and the bathroom was filthy. This was on a Saturday, at noon so there were people in the restaurant but this should not be an excuse. We would never go here again, and would certainly not recommend to friend or foe.

Must be going downhill. Unfortunately I experienced very poor service at Guadalahara Grill. The waiter even dumped a full glass of ice water on one of our party. The food was inconsistent; My chicken quesadillas were cold and greasy. About half of my party thought the food was acceptable. No evidence of a salsa cart or mariachis. Can not recommend this place! You would fare better at Taco Bell, I'm afraid. This place must be a mere shadow of it's former self, judging from previous reviews.

Best Margarita's!. This place has the best margarita's in the city! They make the salsa right at your table and the atmosphere is very appealing. I can't wait to go back!

A Breath Of Fresh Air!. My newest favorite restaurant in Tucson. We went in on an early Wednesday evening surprised to see the place packed. Actually I think it was a private party in the patio area that looked like a great place to dine and party.

When talking Mexican Food in this town everyone has their opinions. I have been to most of them and there is nothing quite like the Guadalajara Grill. We were promptly seated and served which can be a rare event in this town. Immediately our attention was drawn to 3 mariachis that were performing in the middle of the room and not cruising around chumming for tips.

The Salsa cart is sort of gimicky and you may be waiting for your salsa if the girl gets busy with incoming customers.

As the evening went on the place just filled up and was quite festive as the staff worked the room perfectly. The food was excellent and would recommend this to anyone who is interested in great tasting Mexican recipes.

Most of the menu is tortilla based, burros, enchiladas etc. We went the the seafood items and were pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. The burro de pescado was a delightful combination of a mild fish coleslaw wrapped in a homemade flour tortilla and covered with a seafood enchilada sauce and cheese that will keep me comming back for years.

My date had Lobster enchiladas and the kids had beef chimichangas and there were happy faces all around... Excelent place for out of town visitors and kids! Can't wait till we can go again.

Okay.... The only thing good was the salsa made at your table. Other than that I wouldn't recommend this place. My friend was eating his food and there was a screw in his food! All they did was apologize. You would expect at least a free plate. Completely bad service.

Awesome Mexican!. we went for dinner and were really wow'ed by the whole experiance at Guadalajara Grill. The service was great, it was fun having salsa made to order right at our table. We had the shrimp fajitas and enchi's espanacas.. both fixed perfectly and served hot! The atmosphere was also fun - definitely going back and bringing friends in tow next time! Thanks - it was great
