Great Food But A Little Overpriced

This is my first review so I hope I can be of some help. I had always heard of and driven by Shari's but never eaten there. Tonight, I was feeling like a burger and wanted to try something new. Shari's is kind of hard to see at night but should not be missed. It closes kind of early which is a minus, but it is understandable since it is a small business. I read the reviews on this site about it, and I was on a teeter totter. I said heck with it and I tried. Since I have only been one time, here are my reviews.
Fries: The fries are very good. I do not enjoy those fake tasting fries, such as the ones at McDonalds. I like to actually know I am eating a potato fry. And you know this when eating Shari's fries. Most of the fries still have the potato skin on them. If you dont like the potato skin on your fry, dont order them. They are salted very nicely and not soggy at all.
MilkShakes: One of the best shakes I have ever had!! It is very thick but not thick enough to get stuck in the straw. Also, I saw the lady make it in front of me so I know it is fresh. I only had the chocolate but it is amazing!
Cheeseburger: It is a normal cheeseburger. except that the pickles, lettuce and tomatoes are on the bottom bun and the burger and cheese are on top. I found that a little odd but it did not take away from enjoying the burger. The cheese is melted very nicely and the lettuce/tomatoes/pickles were fresh.
Overall: I found Shari's a place to stop by whenever I want a milkshake! The burger and fries are a little overpriced but who can blame them. I mean, McDonalds had a $1.00 double cheeseburger and frankly, im not sure if its even beef. And with the new opening of In-and-Out, im sure they raised their prices. Either way, I am sure I will go there again to try a different shake and a different burger (they have a nice selection)
I give it a 4 out of 5...If the prices were more reasonable, EASILY A 5 OUT OF 5
- Pros: Shakes and Fries
- Cons: Prices
Not sure what's so great about this place.

After reading positive reviews of Shari's, my family decided to try it. Our first experience there was lackluster...the burgers are somewhat small and a bit pricey, the fries were not very good, but the shakes where delicious.
Since then, we've been back twice hoping that the first occasion was just a bad night. We've still not gotten what we'd consider a good burger, the fries were even worse the 2nd and 3rd times, and we left feeling that we most certainly had NOT gotten our money's worth. Feeding my family of 3 cost us nearly $20 for a double cheeseburger and fries, a bacon cheese burger and fries and a corndog for my son. The burgers were quite greasy and the fries rather cold, although my 3 year old son seemed to enjoy the corndog.
All in all, I just can't see what all the hype is about. Next time I take my family out for a burger, we'll steer clear of Shari's and pay a visit to Carl's Jr. for a better burger and save some cash.
- Pros: Good shakes, open air
- Cons: Too pricey for what you get, food just not that great
Nothing To Shout About!

I was a little disappointed by my experience at Shari's. From all the reviews, it sounded like I was going to have a really "great" burger. I found the burger to be "ok". Certainly not great! The chile cheese fries were really good though. I woundn't go out of my way in the future to return. I've had a lot of burgers much better than the one I had there. Don't get me wrong. The food was good, but nothing to shout about!
- Pros: The chili cheese fries were good
