New Years Eve Dinner.
My wife and I had new years eve dinner at soleil. The amuse bouche was tasteless, dry and unappetizing. The salad was okay but uninspired. The lobster dish was raw and tasteless. The filet mignon was chewy and the desert was very very dry. The mignardises (little sweets for after the meal) came in singles so we didnt have one for each of us but anyway they were not good. We only got one roll each and when it was finished we werent even asked if we would like more. The glass of wine we ordered for the meat course came when we were halfway finished.
When we told the hostess about this she said she was sorry and offered us some more of the tasteless sweets. We refuse this of course. Why would we want to eat more of that stuff?
Overrated. Service was good, but not great. Food was very dissapointing. Views are about the only good thing about Soliel. Anthony's or the Grill at Hacienda del Sol are a better bet.
Always Enjoyable. With one of the best views in town, I have never been disappointed by Soleil. I can count on it for a great romantic dinner every time. And generally, the prices are not that bad.
Best Date Restaurant. I had my second date at Soleil and it was wonderful. The food was to die for, and the deserts were even better. The service was prompt but not too stuffy and bothersome. It was so romantic on the patio with the lights and the stars, and most importantly the breathtaking view of the city. I would recommend everyone to try this place out! It was great!! Best date restaurant!
