Best Massage
by BusyLady
After my husband lost his job, I was overwhelmed with stress, to say the least. I knew Gadabout offered massages so I booked an appointment. For the first time in monthes I was able to forget about my worries and reklax. Ive gone to a couple different people and each time my massage is extraordinary. I now have weekly appointments. This is the place to go for a massage, without a doubt.
- Pros: great massages and waxing
Destroyed my cuticles. Got infected
by LoisMarshall
Avoid completely! Almost a pint of hemoglobin seeped out of 2 of my cuticles while I was checking out. My big toe was sore and hurt for weeks. It started to look black and purple so I went to a doctor and he gave me antibiotics which finally took care of it. I wish I had never come here; I was in pain for at least a week. By the way, when I told the manager how disappointed I was she offered me another pedicure with same butcher. Obviously, I decllined. She never even said sorry.
- Pros: Absolutely None
- Cons: The worst pedicure in my life
What happened? Stylist went from great to terrible
by tucsonmj
When I was new in town, I went to Gadabout first, looking for a good haircut. I was referred to Lauri and she gave me an excellent cut. I was very pleased. On my second visit to Lauri, I received a not-quite-as-good cut, which I attributed to her perhaps having a bad day. My third visit to Lauri was a disaster. She cut my hair in an extremely short style which was nothing like the first cut. It was horribly unattractive. I had to have an ID photo taken shortly afterward, and now I show that picture as a "Please don't do this" with my new stylist. I don't know what happened with Lauri, but I would caution others not to spend big bucks at Gadabout. I'm sure there are many talented stylists there, but this stylist was complacent--perhaps even malicious--at the customer's expense.
- Pros: Ambience, parking, service, professional front desk, product lines
- Cons: Erractic stylist
