This bar pairs authentic Mexican cuisine and cool cocktails with a lush, tropical garden..
The Scene
El Parador, which means "The Inn," is an oasis in the Tucson desert, featuring not only fine dining in a garden atmosphere, but also cool cocktails in two full-service bars. The bars radiate a feeling of tropical days gone by with stained-glass murals and '60s-style lounge chairs, tables and booths.
The Booze
Looking around: You'd expect El Parador to offer exotic drinks, and they do. Multiple margaritas means an abundance of tequilas like Don Julio and Porfidio. Beers include Tommy Knocker's Lost Duchman Ale, Negra Modelo, Bass and Tecate. Looking for something harder? Try a shot of Macallan single-malt Scotch whiskey or a shaken Bombay Sapphire martini.
While You're There
Take in the sights and sounds while you sip an "Amnesia," a house margarita that blends the sweet and sour flavors of Grand Marnier, Triple Sec and Herradura tequila.
