Traditional all-American cuisine is served at the no-frills restaurant that is known for its affordable breakfast platters..
In Short
Guests don't go to this restaurant for its atmosphere or for its décor, but for the hearty breakfast and lunch platters. The often busy eatery is unsophisticated with pictures of babies, dogs, motorcylces and well-known music hanging from its walls. Since 1972, the restauran has claimed that it's not just another greasy spoon and owners Frank and Elizabeth Basile offers the 9am weekly special of two eggs, home fries or hash browns and a biscuit, slice of toast or tortilla for $1.50 plus tax. Home style cooking, cheap prices and caring servers keep patrons coming back.

Fine Dining Elsewhere Perhaps but Good Food at Frank's.
I eat at Frank's every time I visit Tucson. Frank's is open from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. weekdays for breakfast or lunch (and opens at 7 a.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday). This is a one of a kind place with good food and service. The food is standard American breakfast foods plus some Southwest additions in an often noisy place. The big sign out front says "Fine Dining Elsewhere", but for inexpensive good food this is hard to beat. By the way, Frank's reoopens for dinner under another name - I've not tried that cuisine however.

Gotta Love It!.
Frank's in the a.m., Francisco's at night...the best of both worlds! Large portions, low prices and consistently delicious food. The only way you might not like is if you don't like the down home, diner- type atmosphere. As they say, "Fine dining elsewhere".
