Tips for Catalina Pet Hospital

Caring and competent staff. My husband and I have been clients of Catalina Pet Hospital since moving to Tucson in 2003. Because of our involvement with a local animal rescue, we have cared for close to 20 dogs in that time, and we have taken all of them here. There are even other facilities in town that are contracted with the rescue to see their animals at a huge discount (or even free), but we have chosen to pay whatever difference there might be to take the animals here. This is not to say that Catalina Pet Hospital is expensive! They charge a fair price for the best possible care available in Tucson, and they are willing to work with you if you can't afford their very reasonable charges. We have never experienced price gouging or upcharging, and as the "parents" of multiple geriatric dogs, we would have been prime targets.

We have seen both Dr. Cohen (older male) and Dr. Maus (younger female). They are both very competent, caring vets who have helped us care for our aging pets and helped us take them to the "Rainbow Bridge." The staff is wonderful, too, and after all these years, feel like family. Catalina Pet Hospital is wonderful!!

The Best!. Randy is the best Vet ever!

I have been to 5 different veternarians to attempt to treat the seizures my dog was having and he was the most caring and sincere doctor. I have yet to see her have a seizure since her medication, it has changed our life. His sincere concern to fix her was unlike any other doctor I had been to in the past and made the difference.
