Gadabout, you are amazing!. Gadabout it definitely my #1 salon. Every time I go, regardless of what service I am getting, I am treated like a friend. The girls at the front desk are always welcoming and knowledgable about the products/services. I really recommend going if you havent experienced it yet; you'll really enjoy it.

Caring People, Great Service. I have been going to Gadabout for three years now. It was the 3rd salon I tried and immediatley loved it. My colorist knows exactly how to deal with, color, and cut my unruly hair and even the technicians that do not work with me are always welcoming! My brazilian bikini waxes, which are ussually NEVER short of extruciating pain, are quick and relativley painless due to my experienced estician. LADIES this is the salon to go to, trust me!

Great place for any Salon or spa service. I have gotten many different services at Gadabout SalonSpas and I have always left feeling relaxed, beautiful and happy. Gadabout offers many different services from hair, facials, nails, massages and more and each one is amazing!

I definitely recommend Gadabout to anybody and everybody!

Got infected. Avoid completely! Almost a pint of hemoglobin seeped out of 2 of my cuticles while I was checking out. My big toe was sore and hurt for weeks. It started to look black and purple so I went to a doctor and he gave me antibiotics which finally took care of it. I wish I had never come here; I was in pain for at least a week. By the way, when I told the manager how disappointed I was she offered me another pedicure with same butcher. Obviously, I decllined. She never even said sorry.

Overrated. I am so happy to be able to write an evaluation of Gadabout, truly one of Tucson's most overrated salons. I got the worst haircut of my life and the worst permanent there. The shampoo girl pressed my temples so hard, simultaneously, that I thought I was going to pass out. Who taught her that technique? I should have complained but when it was all over I just wanted to get out of there.

Get ready to part with your hard-earned money. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ mucho $$$$$$$$$$$$$

My advice? If you see someone whose hair looks good, ask them who did it and go to that stylist. Don't be fooled by fountains, frou-frou and snootiness.

Awful Cut, Priced tooooo high for the quality, Great Atmosphere. Brought in a pic to show how I wanted cut, in the end it looked nothing like pic and was not even really styled. I said to the guy "your not actually done yet are you" and he said " why yes, dont you like it?" I replied "NO" and he said well I tried to do it like the picture but it was hard to see how it was cut" I told him he could of told me that at the beginning. I left looking worse than when I went in and felt like I just threw $110 down the drain. Would never go back for a cut. Also the guy said my hair was dry and was going to use a special treatment on it. Never said I would be paying for it. When Igot the bill I was charged $35 for this treatment. I was ticked off. Atmosphere is nice with the water feature and waiting area. Have had my brows done there several times and would highly recc. that service!!!

Not impressed!. When I moved to Tucson this summer, Gadabout was recommended as probably the best place in town. I went to the one on Speedway for a color & cut. The guy who did my hair was so ROUGH with my scalp and hair that I almost cried. From combing to washing, etc. it was excruciating. The color was just okay but had places where the colors had run together. I about gasped when they gave me by bill. So then I tried the Gadabout on Grant and the color used was such an ashy color that my hair was green! I told her I wanted brown and blond highlights. It was so ugly. I went up to Phoenix to my sister's salon and they removed the toner that she had used which helped somewhat bring out the blonde highlights. The cut was a mess also. Since I've moved to Tucson, I've had one bad experience after another. Can't ANYONE in this town do hair????

Best Salon and Spa in Tucson. I just moved to tucson and was looking for a great place to get my hair done. I am very big on my experience in a salon and Gadabout exeeded my expectations. The employees at the front desk were very knowledgable and welcoming. My hair stylist was very informative on how to take care of my hair and different products to use. My favorite part is the wet lounge where they sit you down in a dimmed room to wash your hair as you watch a video of beaches on a televsion above while listening to relaxing music. I felt like I was recieving a spa service! All the employees are very knowlegable. I asked the stylist about their education, and they said that after beauty school the recieve training as interns for 1+ year through gadabouts education program. Very impressive. I also got my eyebrows waxed and love them! Very resonable prices for the experience you get. I had a great experience and this is now the only place I will go in Tucson!

overpriced and not very friendly. I went to the Oro Valley location for highlights and a cut. I am new to town and the salon looked reputable although I didn't receive a recommendation from anyone on this salon. I am not particularly picky about my hair, but I felt the highlights I received were substandard. I can't wear my hair back until I get the color fixed because I have clumpy streaks on one side. The hair cut was decent although when I went to pay I thought $220 for a hair cut and ugly highlights was ridiculous. I wouldn't suggest this place.
