Happy customer. I came to Sabino Cycles looking for a particular brand of bike which they no longer sold. The employee, Gus, wanted to know why I was looking for that brand and then explained what other manufacturers had done to meet my demands. He was patient, thorough, and kind, without applying pressure.

Gus took the trouble to find out my riding style, goals, and location, and suggested I test ride a particular bicycle to get my opinion. He accurately assessed my ability and wishes, and I fell in love with the bike and bought it after some consideration. I came back some days later to get the bike fitted to me and he spent a great deal of time making sure I was happy with my purchase.

I was impressed with the amount of time Gus spent on me, and with the explanations that followed his recommendations. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sabino Cycles to anyone who had any bicycling needs or desires.

Great Experience at Sabino Cycles. I just purchased a bike from Sabino Cycles and had an excellent experience. The owner--his name is Mac (not sure of the spelling)--is the person who helped me, and he was attentive, friendly and seemed to make it a priority to find the best bike for me. His store carries bikes from reasonably low priced all the way up to very high end custom bikes. Even though my focus was on the low-end bikes, he devoted a lot of time on two separate days to helping me choose. He even came out to the riding area in the back of the store and rode with me, switching bikes with me along the way to demonstrate the relative benefits of each of the bikes I was considering.

Once I finally decided on a bike, he helped me find a helmet, adjusted the bike and helmet to fit properly, and got the bike secured in my car, which took a bit of work. He then took the time to show me, on a map, what he considered to be the best rides in my area of town. I would recommend this store, and especially Mac, to anyone in Tucson looking for a good bike. The other employees there were busy with other customers, but they seemed just as helpful as the owner. Judging by the number of people they knew by name coming into the store while I was there, this store has a lot of long-standing customers.

This kind of locally owned business has service that is well worth mentioning, and worth supporting.

Great Local Shop. I was greeted warmly by staff. Even though I said I was "just looking" the employee spent a LOT of time with me, explaining the different types of bikes and options available to me. He was patient and humorous as well as informative. I'm going to be spending my money locally at this shop instead of one of the out-of-town chains that have a shop in Tucson.

Not so friendly. I've shopped at this shop four times, and the people here don't make you feel welcome, and seem just un-happy. I'm all for local shops, in fact, I make it a point to shop at them, but you should save your money and shop at another bike shop.
