highly over-rated but fun party place. If you're looking for really good sushi go elsewhere. Nothing here tastes fresh and it seems like every roll has cream cheese in it. If you're going for teppan, fun, and drinks this is a great place. If you want great sushi there's at least 10 other places in town that are heaps better and easier to get a table.

great after work place. i love sakura because on wednesday nights they have a lady's night that can't be beat. its also a great place to go for a romantic date. they have awesome food and drinks.

East meets West at this popular and unconventional, Japanese-style steakhouse and sports bar.. The Scene
Nestled amidst the collage of sports memorabilia and photographs that surround guests is a dance floor. Photographs depict owner, Mr. An, with family, friends and famous figures like Sammy Sosa and Mark McGuire. The sleek bar annex contains plenty of televisions broadcasting the best sporting events. When the games die down, the floor is cleared to make way for dancing.

The Food
Sushi selections include hamachi kama (broiled yellow fin) with ponzu sauce or the Vegas roll (deep-fried with cream cheese, avocado and salmon.) The teppan chicken, steak, vegetables and seafood are sushi alternatives. Teppan meals come with soup, salad, grilled shrimp, vegetables and rice. And for dessert? The ice cream tempura is a ball of ice cream surrounded by angel food cake, dipped in tempura batter and deep fried. There's a wealth of daily drink specials like the Samurai, sake bomber and Madame Butterfly. Premium drafts include Pyramid Hefeweizen, Fat Tire and Sam Adams.

Wonderful !. Excellent ! I could not come up with anything bad to say and I've been here several times. The most impressive thing to me is the attentive and personal service especially by the owner's son! He is wonderful ! The food is excellent, the atmosphere and love the live music to relax or dance to after dinner! Everytime I go, I have a wonderful time and a delicious meal ! Thank you !

What a great experience. Had a great time! Good food, we had both the Teppian food and the sushi, both were great. The sushi rolls were smaller here, nice for people like me that can not fit the entire roll in her mouth at other places. Great service, has a nice bar in the back where you can go to enjoy the food but also watch the games. If you are out for an evening of drinking I suggest trying their Saki Bombers... very tasty :o)
