What happened?. In 2005 this place had incredibly tasty food. I revisited about a week agoand could barely choke down my meal. The food tasted like it came out of a TV dinner box. It reminded me of European vacation, when the griswalds were served microwaved entrees with a little french flag sticking out of them. The service is fast, the prices are good, and the food is awful. Head down the road to Mi Nidito.

Best REAL Mexican Food anywhere!!!. This is original mexican food, and the BEST Machacha combination plate. Even the beans and rice are a meal in itself!! Everything is wonderful... a MUST SEE in Tucson.

yummy. El Indio has the absolute best Albondigas Soup I have ever consumed. A large bowl is a meal for two. Tasty meatballs in a just right broth and a fresh tortilla is second heaven in my ballpark. The only drawback is it is only served on Wednesday. However the Cocido and Caldo de queso are available all week. Enjoy!

Caldo de Queso ...Yummy!. If you love "cheese" soup with bits of cooked green chili strips and gobs of melted white cheese with chunks of soft cooked potato nestled in a chicken flavored soup, this is the restaurant to order it. It's the best I've found.

A small bowl fills me up just right!

I rarely oder anything else because I love this soup so much and I hope you'll try it!

This restaurant has very delicious authentic tastingfood. I know because lucky for me, I always manage to taste some of the food my family orders.

There's an authentic Mexican atmosphere here too!
