Worth the drive. Jerri was very helpful when I needed to buy a saddle. I wanted a western saddle all she carries is english. I only had the smallest knowledge of what I needed. She was going to send me somewhere else but when she could get the answers we needed from the saddle distributor she got me the right saddle for my mare. I would go back if I needed more help. Thanks Jerri

Don't Waste Your Time. Don't bother with this "store" they have plenty of stuffed animals and small horse toys but it's far from a tack shop. Buying online is better: dover, stateline, beval.

Many thanks to The Saddle Shop!!. We are so grateful that The Saddle Shop is in Tucson. Without the owner's expertise, I don't know how we would have found the appropriate saddle to fit my daughter's horse. Jerri's willingness to come out to our barn and spend time fitting the saddle to our horse saved his back from continued soreness and muscle aches. In the end, she saved us time and money since we did not have to ship saddles back and forth to get an appropriate fit for his back. Also, I appreciate the staff's guidance when selecting helmets. A friend of my daughter's did not wear a helmet until the staff convinced her parents to get her a well-fitted comfortable helmet. A week later, the girl went head first into a fence after coming off her former barrel horse. The only thing that cracked was the helmet!! Thanks Saddle Shop!!

Too many unpleasant experiences with this business. Very limited amount of inventory on hand. It is a lot better to drive to PHX or order online and save the hassle. I have found much better deals in PHX or online.

Another thing that really discouraged me from shopping there is the amount of nasty gossip that Jerry and her employees engage in. They are really mean about what they say about everybody they don't like. I have heard stuff in there that is really hurtful and completely untrue. Be careful what you say in there about anything, because it will get repeated and distorted. My friends and I don't go there except to try things on and get the right sizes to order online.
