Great place for a Family celebration. We went to Chads to celebrate my sons 38th Birthday before he leaves for Switzerland. Our waiter, "Chad" was extremely attentive and very personable.

Our food was delicious, to the point of everyone (6) over eating.

We had a variety of choices, 3 different steaks, salmon, chicken, shrimp and everything was awesome.

We will come back again.

Stay Away. Chad's Steakhouse should be avoided. Horrible service and food. First off we were waiting in the parking lot waiting for the restaurant to open at 4pm. They decided to open the doors at 4:15pm. When we finally got seated it took the server forever to finally get to us for our drink orders. We placed 2 appitzer orders in as well. I would advise against the Potato skins, they were VERY bland. It took one of us getting up to find a server so we could get refills on out drinks....twice. When the server finally came back to take our food order we were disappionted with the lack of food choices. One of our family ordered onion rings, alas they were out of onion rings (mind you the restaurant just opened). 3 Of us ordered Mac and Ceese for our side. About 30 minutes after our server took our order she came back to tell us there was no Mac and Cheese.......Are you serious?? Here comes the salad, Iceburg lettus with chunks of carrot two black olives an a 1/2 slice of one ring of onion ( Makes sense because they were out of fired onion rings right?) My salad had about a 1/2 cup of water at the bottom like they just threw on some frozen lettuce. There was a family of 8 seated next to us and as they received their bill and paid, we received our food. two entrees were cold and sent back to be reheated. One steak was Med Rare when ordered Medium Well. About 20 minutes went by and one of our family realized that we were missing the beans. We had to track down the server again and remind her what was missing. The signature steak was not what I would expect, esp for the price. A 20 dollar steak better taste great, not like i bought the cheap steak at the market and killed it on the grill. Also I do remember the servers uniform wasnt the cleanest. Her apron look like she hasnt washed it in a week. Please stay away from the Steakhouse!

A great Prime Rib!. We've been going to Chad's for years ... great prime rib, steaks, and an awesome dinner salad that is more than just iceburg lettuce and a tomato wedge ... great for family gatherings, celebrations, or to treat out-of-towners. Reasonably priced, great service, and a laid back, casual atmosphere. Enjoy!

One of our regular haunts!. We love Chads & go frequently. The food is good & prices are fair. The salads are worth a trip alone! Steak sandwiches & shrimp cocktails are super. Give it a try. Think you will be happy you didi!

Excellent Resturant. Dinner 01/19/09

The service was excellent, fast and efficient.

The vegetable soup was beyond good, perhaps the best bowl of soup I've ever had.

Their cheese biscuits had a unique texture but a great flavor.

I decided to try something new, the peppercorn steak was. I never had a steak coated with peppercorns before. The steak was excellent, but be sure you really like peppercorns before you order it.

There were a couple of detractors, first the tables were very close together and there was not enough room for two average size adults to sit back to back. I had to sit at the end of the table, I would recommend a booth. Next, the dining room on the far left when you enter was very loud, with everyone trying to talk over the other guests. Finally, we had the potato skins as an appetizer; they looked great but were cooked to the point that cutting them with a regular knife was a challenge. We dug out the middle with a spoon.

Overall, the food was excellent, for $52.00 we'd go back. Next time we will be sure to sit in the first dining room and request that attention be given to not over cooking the potato skins.

Poor poor poor. I agree with the last reviewer. Dont waste your time. There are at least 25 restaurants in Tucson/Oro Valley that serve great food.

Dont wate your time with the poor ones.

No thank you. Well, I suppose if you are looking for a poorly cooked piece of meat and the loudest restaurant in town this is the place to go! I can not fairly express my dissapointment. Both steaks my wife and I ordered were cooked wrong. Hers under cooked, mine over cooked and even to my wife, mine tasted awful. We will not be back.

I love Chad's!!. Even though I now live in Washington DC, which is has many famous steakhouses, I still fly to Tucson to get the superb Prime Rib, amazing salad (with bleu cheese crumbles), sweet potatos, and famous cheesy rolls at Chad's Steakhouse!

I love how the food and service are consistenly good and how their prices are so reasonable for the quality and quantity of food! Chad's is a great restaurant for any occasion and things just keep getting better. I also really like how the owner, Shaun, always greets me at the door personally! If you are in Tucson, and you want great food, Go To Chad's!

My Favorite. Chad's is my favorite steak house, they have the best prime rib, their garlic cheese rolls are incredible and if you haven't tried a tumbleweed yet, I dare you to give it a try!

If you plan to go on a Friday or Saturday, I suggest that you make reservations, it tends to get very crowded and wait times for a table could be up to 45 minutes.

Best Prime Rib !. I love prime rib and Chad's has the best prime rib in town. Their menu is priced reasonably and the service is great. The prime rib just melts in your mouth and the sweet potato will tickle your palate. It's heaven!!!
