Avoid It.
We went to the Golden Dragon on the recommendation of the original reviewer....bad mistake. We arrived on a Friday night around 7pm. The restaurant was pretty much empty - bad sign - especially since all the other restaurants in the area were packed. Anyway, relying on the review we read, we decided to stay. The service was very friendly and fast, the decor; typical store front strip mall, except for the large tear in the carpet on the steps leading up to the booths. We started by ordering a glass of wine each. My red wine arrived quickly but was sour and had turned bad. I turned it back and ordered a Chinese beer instead - the best thing I had all night!
We ordered meals marked "spicy" on the menu, but there was no spice there. There was no flavor either - terribly bland and tasteless. There was, however, apparently a lot of MSG - we were thirsty for the rest of the evening. We only ate about half of our meal, and left the rest - didn't even want to take it home for a future lunch.
The original reviewer did get one thing right -- it is NOT cheap.
So, it you want pricey, bland, tasteless, MSG laden Chinese, in a typical strip mall environment, with maybe three other tables of diners in the restaurant with you, while the help watches TV on the set over the bar, then the Golden Dragon is the place for you.....if not.....avoid this place.

Chinese by degree!.
If what your looking for is a cheap local buffet, go somewhere else, this is the good stuff. I love a good chinese restaurant. This one provided a quiet atmosphere, pleasant service, and some of the most underrated food in town. I'd recommend getting your food spiced by degree... Show your friends you've got a stomach of steel. ;)
It's also a nice quiet place to take a date at night... give it a shot.
