Just OK.
I've traveled to Korea extensively and took Korean customers (visiting from Korea) there for a meal. Only one waitress, so service was "pass the plate down the row" style. No call button (found in every restaurant in Korea). Ordered spicy dish...not even a twinge of hot....
Food was edible, but if you're looking for authentic Korean tastes, keep looking.
Octopus Pancake was good, but no dong dong ju....
great food.
doesnt look like much from outsde but is authentic inside and the bbq beef is top notch only problem is that I notice the quality has been slipping over the years still fantastic food though and you get plenty of food for what you pay try to go for lunch special
Khamsamnida is thank you in Korean you'll want to say that
Delicious and authentic. This restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside the restaurant is divided into a main dining room, seperate rooms to the left and a raised platform on the right where you sit down at a low table to eat. That alone made the experience authentic. It was very comfortable like eating in your own home. The food was savory and the price was reasonable. The service was a little rushed and the waitresses were kind of impatient, probably because there were only 2 or 3 of them. The food here is just as good as Takematsu down the street, but slightly less expensive and the atmosphere is not as nice like a formal dining area. Overall, it's a great Korean dining experience.
My Favorite.
8yrs ago I came to this resturaunt and to this day the food is still the same, wonderful!!
I always take dates and friends to this place and they love it. A review was made that it is not romantic, I disagree strongly. they have 4 rooms that are good for a somewhat private dinner.
they food is wonderful and the service could be more professional but when you eat the food you could care less about that. the resturaunt does need to be modernized.
Fantastik food!!!.
Both my husband and I were stationed in Korea and the food at this restaurant is equal too, if not better than, the bulgogi houses we'd frequent in Pyongtek.
The waitstaff is so friendly and you never wait long for your food.
The servings are more than generous and always cooked exactly perfect!!
It's, without a doubt, my favorite restaurant in Tucson.
