This chain restaurant's orange-and-white A-frame buildings dot the Southern coast, from Florida to Arizona. What's made Whataburger grow since its first burger stand opened in 1950 is its commitment to custom orders--the restaurant is happy to fill special requests, as promised in the motto "Just as you like it." The signature five-inch patties and buns--an inch larger than most other chains--have also hooked loyalists to their burgers and chicken sandwiches.

Almost the Best in the Old West. Whataburgers are the best of fast food restarants. They are served fresh, don't think I have ever had one that has been sitting under a heat lamp. I like them the most because they have fresh onions & tomato and no mayonaise and they grill the bun. I did not rate them a 10 because they are not the best fast food hamburger I have ever had, but that fast food hamburger is not in Tucson!! So for Tucson I like Whataburger the best!
