Disappointing food. This was my second time at Old Pueblo Grille. I raved about it to all of my friends the first time, but apparently they're not very consistant. Everyone at my table complained the food was bland. From the Grilled Chicken Pasta to the Turkey Avocado Wrap, it was just plain disappointing. It made me wonder if they had changed cooks. The service was okay, but not stellar. On the plus side, the desserts were fabulous and I love the ambiance. I doubt I'll be returning, though.
One of the Best Restaurants in Tucson. We usually go to casual dining places or buffets when we go out to eat, so I was not used to a place like this, but it was definitely a pleasant change. The restaurant itself is really pretty, and the food was unique and delicious. I actually ate at this restaurant a couple days before having weight loss surgery, and I'm glad that this got to be one of my last meals!
Disappointing. We had been wanting to try this place, heard it was good. Very nice atmosphere, patio looked inviting, lighting was nice, not too loud. Service started off pretty good. Ordered chips and salsa. Chip were greasy and REALLY salty, salsa was so so. Cilantro rice, okay, charro beans, okay, everything was just okay, waiter disappeared after awhile. Maybe it was off night for them. Hope so.
Best place we ate in Tucson. The food was so good here when we ate lunch that we went back for dinner the following night. Of course, it helped that our accommodation (Lodge on the Desert) was walking distance away. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious.
Best Metro Resturant.
This is by far the best of the Metro resurants. Old Pueblo has inventive food, great service and the best outside dining in Tucson.
The only drawback is the the pigeons that invade any table left alone and some that are still occupied.
The interior is beautiful too.
My biggest complaint about the Old Peublo was having New Years Eve dinner there with a very overpriced and limited menu. It looked like the Old Pueblo the service was like the Old Peublo but the food was like any other mediocre Metro resturant.
