Awesome food and service. We love this restaurant. My husband and I eat breakfast out 4 - 5 times per week. We stopped in here to try a new place and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly, the amount of food was beyond anything we've seen for the price and it was delicious. I had the multi-grain pancakes with sausage patty and eggs and it was all very tasty and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is like walking into your grandma's house for a home cooked meal. Definitely one of our new favorites!

Good food, questionable employers/cleanliness. When we were last here business was slow and the management had the waitresses standing on chairs and/or booth seats, washing all the paraphenaili hanging on the walls. Not only was this knocking dust onto the tables below which were already "set" with utensils and napkins, these are wait staff, which last time I checked, are allowed to be paid a very miniscule "waitress" wage which I believe is BELOW THE MINIMUM WAGE. I don't know for a legal fact, but having 3 waitresses (clearly not owners or family )cleaning sounds illegal, not to mention unethical and distasteful to me. The manager (owner?) is a jerk (smiley to the customer and not nice to the staff). The staff was not happy doing that cleaning and I don't blame them, but they need to earn a living in this economy. WE ARE NOT GOING BACK!!!!!

food and service good but those poor girls!. The Hungry Fox has become a tradition for my husband and I. I always enjoy eating there, and the food is great and the girls are wonderful. This weekend was no exception. However, when I went to use the restroom, the hallway to them is narrow and they were crowded, so I ducked into this little cranny where I saw alot of posts about guests experiences, and they were not all nice. The girls names were handwritten by each of them. It made me feel bad for the girls, because working with the public is not easy, and lets face it, sometimes the public is not nice. It is easier to say something bad than something good. But these girls have it rough. They have to go on with a smile on their face even though they are being publicly humiliated and their less than proud moments being displayed for all, including myself to see! This may affect how I feel about the Hungry Fox, and how often I return from here on out!

lack of taste. I went to this restaurant after reading some of the reviews hoping it was going to be as good as they stated, but I was sadly disappointed after going. The food didn't really stand out; it was tasteless, EXTRMELY greasy and ended up making my boyfriend's stomach upset. I hate to say this, but even Denny's was better than this place. I think my group of friends were the only minorites in the whole place and all the customers kept staring at us like we were freaks or something.

For the sake of location, this restaurant was alright, but I am definitely not a repeat customer.

You can't beat the double yoked egges!. The Hungry Fox is a great breakfast place. They only serve double yoked eggs, so ordering one is like getting two. The bread is homebaked on the premises. The portions are large, so bring your appetite. On weekends, be prepared to wait to be seated. While you wait, you can stroll through their country store and inspect the crafts and cadies they offer.

YUMMY. I am returning to Tucson, not just to visit family, but to eat at the Hungry Fox. Homemade Bread, double yolks, Bisquits and gravy, fresh Jam, and the best coffee. My mouth is watering just writing about the Hungry Fox.

Just came back from the Hungry Fox. It is great!!! Must go back to Tucson again.
