…
This is not Italian food.. To all those who voted for Olive Garden, you obviously haven't tried the authentic places in town. Olive Garden is a run'em through national chain catering to those who think they know Italian food! Granted they do have good food but it's not true ITALIAN. It's Americanized Italian food. Gavi, Caruso's, Cappriccio's, Amerino's.....now THOSE are good Italian restaurants. Expand your horizons and get out of the "we do dinner once a month, and this is our big night out" at Olive Garden thing and you won't go back.
no olives or garden, pasta, please.
even though it's a chain, the food is above average.
great soup, great breadsticks, great salad. but, mostly lots of pasta, cooked just right.
Italian Fast Food is here!. I can't believe Olive Garden was rated #2 in Tucson for Best Italian food. If there ever was such a thing as Fast Food Italian then Olive Garden would be the closest thing. The restaurant is usually very noisy and it is like sitting in a Hometown Buffet without the buffet! There are better Italian Restaraunts than this in Tucson but I guess because of the "Chain" mentality people only feel safe in the womb of commercialism.
must be kidding.
I always laugh when someone tells me that the Olive Garden is their favorite Italian restaurant.
dofferent people have dragged me here for years. Sorry, don't like plastic tastless food!!!!
Cutting it short. I have always enjoyed going to the Olive Garden, but lately, I think that they are really letting the quality and quantity go down the drain. Their portions are either getting smaller, or their plates are getting WAY too big...and what is with the bread stick distribution! Who do we have to know in order to get more than 3 breadsticks in our basket? On another note, their salad is great!
