In Short – Established in 1982, this chain gained a following for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions. Patrons settle into comfortable booths and tables in dining rooms with plants, artwork and décor reminiscient of the villas in the Tuscan countryside. Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.

What can I say? It's Olive Garden...

Having visited Olive Garden recently, I have to say I was sorely disappointed in the wait staff! We asked for many things we were never given, and when we asked what one dish contained, the waitress rolled her eyes as if she had just had enough of us! Never were we rude to her or bothered her in any way. She may have been having a bad day, I'll give her that. But, there is never a reason to roll your eyes at someone and act like the world is ending when waiting is YOUR JOB!
The food was okay. It's Olive Garden, after all.

An okay Value....

Seems they have increased their prices for the same portions...but the food was very good. I had the meat ravioilis with the 3 sauces (tomato/meat, my favorite; basil pesto; white-garlic sauce ). The server did not know the name of the different pastas, but the service was prompt and the food was hot. Overall, a good experience, but getting on the pricy side.

The one thing I hate more then waiting for a seat in a resturant is waiting for a seat in a bad resturant when there are plenty of empty tables!
The worst culprit of this is the Olive Garden. With its awful tasting sauce and it horrible wine (that they try to shove done your throat) it should be seating people as they enter. Regardless of the time of day I have always had to wait to be seated. Has the place been full? Never! If it wasn't for my pregnant wife's crazy cravings I would never have set foot in an Olive Garden again.
Instead of waiting, for nothing, go to a Gavi's which is probably the closest thing to northeast (USA) Italian food here in Tucson.
